    CHARO (pro partner Keo Motsepe) - Only a few people in show business are recognized by just one name. Charo is one of those people. A virtuoso guitarist, singer, composer, actress and comedienne, Charo is an American music and pop culture icon and she’s back in the spotlight once more with pro partner Keo Motsepe on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.

    CHRIS KATTAN (pro partner Witney Carson) - Chris Kattan is best known for his many characters on Saturday Night Live, which he joined in March 1996, completing his seventh and final season in 2003. He will soon be seen in Jesse Thomas’ Walk of Fame, opposite Scott Eastwood. But before that, Chris will be hitting the ballroom with pro partner Witney Carson on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    DAVID ROSS (pro partner Lindsay Arnold) - David Ross is a two-time World Series Champion, having won World Series titles in 2013 with the Boston Red Sox and with the Chicago Cubs in 2016. Recently retired, Ross now serves as a Special Assistant for the Chicago Cubs and also works as a TV Baseball Analyst for ESPN. Now David has a new teammate with pro partner Lindsay Arnold on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    ERIKA JAYNE (pro partner Gleb Savchenko) - You know you’re a music success when you’ve raked in a whopping nine #1’s on the US Billboard dance club chart without a major label machine behind you. That is exactly where dance-pop/reality TV star Erika Jayne is today. Now this real housewife of Beverly Hills is getting real with pro partner Gleb Savchenko on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    HEATHER MORRIS (pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy) - Heather Morris is both a talented actress and dancer. She is best known for her role as ‘Brittany Pierce’ on FOX’s hit series Glee and she also appeared in the feature film Spring Breakers. However, this spring, Heather hopes to break into the Finals with pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    MR. T (pro partner Kym Herjavec) – In Rocky III, Mr. T played Clubber Lang, a boxer pitted against the film’s main character, Rocky Balboa. It was during the filming of this movie that Mr. T coined the catchphrase, “I pity the fool!” He would go on to star as one of TV’s most memorable characters on The A-Team. Mr. T will be bringing his A-game with pro partner Kym Herjavec on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    NANCY KERRIGAN (pro partner Artem Chigvintsev) - Nancy Kerrigan has been one of America’s most recognizable sports icons for over 20 years. In 1993 Kerrigan became the United States Ladies Champion and followed that up with her historic silver medal performance at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Nancy trades in her ice skates for dancing shoes with pro partner Artem Chigvintsev on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    NICK VIALL (pro partner Peta Murgatroyd) – When Bachelorette Andi Dorfman said goodbye to Nick Viall just as he was preparing to pick out a ring, he was devastated. When Nick walked up to Kaitlyn Bristowe with an engagement ring in his pocket only to be sent home, he was crushed. Now Nick follows up his run as The Bachelor with a run at the Mirrorball with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    NORMANI KORDEI (pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy) - Normani Kordei is one-fourth of one of the most popular girl groups in the world, Fifth Harmony. The release of Fifth Harmony’s sophomore album, “7/27,” is the latest in a series of record-breaking accomplishments for the group. Now Normani takes to a brand new stage with pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    RASHAD JENNINGS (pro partner Emma Slater) - Rashad Jennings was one of the top NFL running backs in 2015. In that breakout 2015 season, he started every game and set career highs in carries, rushing yards, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Rashad will be hoping all those touchdown dances will help him and pro partner Emma Slater go far on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    SIMONE BILES (pro partner Sasha Farber) - At 19, Simone Biles is already considered one of the best and most decorated gymnasts in the history of the sport. Her career highlights include being an Olympic Gold medalist in vault, floor, Individual and Team All-Around, and a Bronze medalist on Beam at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Simone will look to add a Mirrorball Trophy to her mantle with pro partner Sasha Farber on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    I am sad not to see Cheryl or Karina back. I’m always sad not to see Tristan but I know that ship has sailed long ago. I am excited for Sasha to have Simone. Right now they are my choice to win this whole thing.

    Good Morning to you all, well summer weather has left VA for a few days...Chilly but sunny today but back in the 40's for the weekend with 20's at nighttime...I hope all the budding trees and flowers that have been confused by the warmer temperatures will not be effected by the return of colder temperatures.

    Well the Sisterhood had a nice and welcome surprise this morning...Tennessee came for a visit...it is always good to hear from our sisters that have been away for a bit...Good to know all is well with her and hopefully she will join us for the new season and maybe our game...

    Well, what do you all think of the new cast for Season 24???

    I am happy to see that Emma has a younger partner Rashad Jennings, finally this season..he is a football player and the athletes seem to do well on the show as they usually have a big following with the fans.

    I think Sasha will do well with Simone and they may give the other couples a run for the money...

    I am not to sure about Keo and Charo...that should prove to be interesting...LOL

    I think Sasha and Bonner will be a good couple to watch too...he is competitive and from one of the interviews he and Sharna he does yoga and ti chi which will make hi flexible, so we will see...Do I see a "showmance" in the future???  

    Mr. T and Kym I don't really know what to say about that pairing...I think that will be fun to watch but I don't see them going to far, do you???

    Nancy Kerrigan  and Artem will be a good couple to watch I think...she is an athlete/skater and will have grace and poise when she dances and because she skates she will be good at keeping the routine ...

    Peta and Nick Viall from the Bachelor....I only saw a few of the show when my daughter was watching and for some reason on that show I just didn't care for him...hopefully he will be a bit different on DWTS...

    Lindsay has David Ross the first MLB player on the show...again another athlete so I would guess he will do pretty good too and being the first MLB player In think his following will be pretty big.  

    I am wondering how Val and his partner Normani Kordei will fare,,,she is in a "girls group" Fifth Harmony and they are on tour and I heard her say in an interview that I believe on Val's birthday they will be on tour in Tokyo so they will be flying half way around the world to practice while she is on tour...

    Well love Gleb (Annie) and I think he will do good with his partner Erika Jayne...she had experience in the music world and is on the "Housewives of Beverly Hills" (which I don't watch)  and he did good last season so I am thinking this will be pretty good this season too.

    I don't know anything about Maks partner Heather Morris other than she was on Glee we are told...but Maks is a good teacher and hopefully since becoming a "daddy" he has mellowed out!!!

    Witney is with Chris Kattan and I don't know anything about him either other than he was on SNL.  I am not to sure how he will do on the dance floor but I do know that he is funny so that could prove to be interesting...Not sure how big a fan base he has but I know SNL does have a huge group of fans. 

    So that is my take so far on the new cast of Season 24...but even though you know things about them off the dance floor...once they start to dance it is a completely different world so watching the first week will hopefully give us some idea of how they will do on the show, but then again as we all know their dancing is not always what keeps them on week after week...the fans have a LOT to do with that!!!!

    Do any of you have a "favorite" yet????  I have several right now...Sharna and Bonner, Nancy and Artem, Sasha and Simone and Emma and David....this is just from their initial bio's and seeing them on GMA...dancing will tell the big picture!!!!

    Charo her second husbad Kjell Rasten (they have been married for 37 years) and their son Shel Rasten...Charo was married to Xavier Cugart but they divorced in 1978 and she married her now husband that same year....

    Glad you dropped in for a bit.  I echo what all of the sisters have said.  I hope that you are able to pop in again sometime.  We all "meet" Monday nights to chat, maybe you can chime in on the days that you watch the show.  I know we would love to catch up with you.

    At first glance,  I thought Emma and Witney could have gotten each others partner.  But Emma will probably go further now, but would have liked to see her with the comedian.  Hoping for some funny packages from Witney/the comedian.  Potatoes from mars, anyone?   
    The bachelor is likable. Wondering who from the Chmerkovskiy household will get the furthest.  Not so sure it is Val this time.
