For annie. I read they were married for 12 years. I think he left her for Charo. Not positive.

Charo on Merv Griffin Show

GetTV just aired this episode again tonight. This episode originally aired in 1966. Merv's other guest was Charo's new husband Xavier Cugot. Charo is supposed to be turning 66 on January 15th 2017. She petitioned the courts many years ago to change her age. She and her Mother claimed she was born in 1951. But just before Charo comes out to perform this number Merv is chatting with Xavier. He asks Xavier how old Charo is and he says 21 which would place her year of birth at 1944. Xavier was 66 here and maybe he lied and said she was 21 because it seemed less creepy to say he married a 14 year old. But I honestly think he gave her true age which means she's actually turning 72.

For annie. I read they were married for 12 years. I think he left her for Charo. Not positive.
He was married 4 times and my guess is he was already in a relationship with the new wife by the look of the dates he remarried almost as soon as he divorced a wife except with Abbe and Charo there was a two year gap.
