    Maybe the gap occurred because she was truly under marriage age, if born in 1951.  I know they were different times, but ...   However old she really was, he was born in 1900 and hence this teenager married a 66 year old man. 
     

     Quite often actresses in the 1940's and maybe early 50's lied abou their ages to get into Hollywood.

    If Charo was actually born in 1941, she is my hubby's age, which will be 76 at the end of the month.  He doesn't look or act 76....thankfully!!!  I'm too young to be married to an "OLD GUY"!!!!!    . Helps that his hair grayed early (he was a red head), so he's looked pretty much the same for 25 years!!!  LOL

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     Hi Jet!  What are you doing up?    I guess you need some child free time??
    So the guy has 'faithfulness' tattooed across his chest.  It sounds clunky for a tattoo. Why not 'fidelity'?

    Hi Tennessee!  Good to hear from you.    I think a number of us share your sentiment re. Maks, but he/they have long ceased to be the 'glue' that brought us and holds us together.  We have 'evolved' as my little guy would put it.  Hope you keep on stopping by.  I would be interested to see the show that Derek is going to be involved in and some others are too.  Perhaps you find that more appealing as well and continue to be a regular on that interest.   
     

     
    HELLO, TENNESEE!!  Very nice to know that your world has been crazy busy and that you and your family are all thriving!  We all hope you will check in on occasion and say *hi* when you can.  Amazing that you are "on the road again" to a new home soon!!  Keep us posted as you are able to.  We do love * seeing* the sisters who don't post often.

However, this spring, Heather hopes to break into the Finals with pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    MR. T (pro partner Kym Herjavec) – In Rocky III, Mr. T played Clubber Lang, a boxer pitted against the film’s main character, Rocky Balboa. It was during the filming of this movie that Mr. T coined the catchphrase, “I pity the fool!” He would go on to star as one of TV’s most memorable characters on The A-Team. Mr. T will be bringing his A-game with pro partner Kym Herjavec on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    NANCY KERRIGAN (pro partner Artem Chigvintsev) - Nancy Kerrigan has been one of America’s most recognizable sports icons for over 20 years. In 1993 Kerrigan became the United States Ladies Champion and followed that up with her historic silver medal performance at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Nancy trades in her ice skates for dancing shoes with pro partner Artem Chigvintsev on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    NICK VIALL (pro partner Peta Murgatroyd) – When Bachelorette Andi Dorfman said goodbye to Nick Viall just as he was preparing to pick out a ring, he was devastated. When Nick walked up to Kaitlyn Bristowe with an engagement ring in his pocket only to be sent home, he was crushed. Now Nick follows up his run as The Bachelor with a run at the Mirrorball with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    NORMANI KORDEI (pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy) - Normani Kordei is one-fourth of one of the most popular girl groups in the world, Fifth Harmony. The release of Fifth Harmony’s sophomore album, “7/27,” is the latest in a series of record-breaking accomplishments for the group. Now Normani takes to a brand new stage with pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    RASHAD JENNINGS (pro partner Emma Slater) - Rashad Jennings was one of the top NFL running backs in 2015. In that breakout 2015 season, he started every game and set career highs in carries, rushing yards, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Rashad will be hoping all those touchdown dances will help him and pro partner Emma Slater go far on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    SIMONE BILES (pro partner Sasha Farber) - At 19, Simone Biles is already considered one of the best and most decorated gymnasts in the history of the sport. Her career highlights include being an Olympic Gold medalist in vault, floor, Individual and Team All-Around, and a Bronze medalist on Beam at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Simone will look to add a Mirrorball Trophy to her mantle with pro partner Sasha Farber on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.


    I am sad not to see Cheryl or Karina back. I’m always sad not to see Tristan but I know that ship has sailed long ago. I am excited for Sasha to have Simone. Right now they are my choice to win this whole thing.

    Hahaha Annie!  I knew two, Simone Biles and Nancy Kerrigan.  No one else.
     

     
    I only know Simone Biles, Nancy Kerrigan, Mr. T, and Charo!!  Not a clue on any of the others.....(I'm such a Hollywood fan!!  LOL)

    Btw.  Sharna's Bonner doesn't even have a Wikipedia entry.  I'm a bit worried about what his fan base is like.

    Need to go.  Have someone coming in for repairs to our driveway after the torrential rains this summer.  Ciao bella!

    It has been another very busy day.  Need to head to the shower before I hit the sack as the 3 granddaughters and I head out at 6 a.m. for the San Diego Slumber Party at our son's house.  It's my Friday of the month to be with the kids while both parents are at work...and daughter is finishing her conference in Hotel Circle on Saturday (not sure just what time that is).

    Today after spending the morning picking up and washing kids' clothes, the 4 of us got Subway sandwiches and had a tail gate party prior to going into "The Cube" (Discover Science Museum).  Tonite the 3 kids are TOAST, but they had a great time!  They can sleep in the car on the trip south in the morning.  I've packed up a few breakfast items to keep everyone functioning (hopefully!).  Li'l One (3-1/2) wakes up ready to eat every morning so I sit her down with a yogurt and either a small amount of juice or milk to hold her till we have breakfast.  She would drink milk all day if allowed so it is restricted to after she's eaten most of her food.  She is a very good eater for such a tiny little thing!

    Granddaughter #1 (in SD) has ice hockey games at 8:45 tomorrow nite and again at 10 a.m. Saturday! We will likely pass on the nite game....stay home with the kids who may not want to go....because of the time but will go on Saturday morning.

    So I shall sign off to get ready to blast off in the morning.  I think we are fairly organized...taking just what we need for the overnite trip rather than having to keep track of a whole bunch of stuff!  Daughter and kids (+ her MIL) will be driving back up north Sunday (leaving early from MIL's house).  We'll be sad to see them go!  It has been a good time---and with a little bribery  ---most of the homework is done!!

    Will check in on Saturday when we get home.  I think I'll leave my iPad this time.  Won't have time to get on it and it's one less thing to keep track of!!!

    Sweet dreams....and have a great Friday!!!

    Oh--so sorry I missed you, Gabriele!!  I was writing a novel!!!  LOL

    Glad you could read that tattoo.....I wasn't too sure what it said!!  I think he may have used "faithfulness" because he is likely an evangelical Christian (you can tell by the hat!!   . Did I read he is a country singer?) and that...at least to me....connotes a slightly different meaning than "fidelity".

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     Jet, I must have stared at it for a while, cross-eyed.  Maybe that's the effect intended by the wearer.    I can't recall having heard 'faithfulness' in an everyday conversation.  So, it expresses a commitment to a religion or perhaps to traditional values?  I wouldn't have picked the hat to be anything other than protection from the elements.  What is it about the style/shape, Jet?  It is a Stetson perhaps, but what's the significance of it?
