Hey guys.....I am searching for words right now......yesterday, we unexpectedly lost my sister.....she has had a trach for quite awhile and yesterday during a coughing spell it completely broke apart (they don't know why yet) and they weren't able to save her.......this is hitting Niecey hard right now as she was very close to her (please keep her in prayer).....and following so closely on the heels of the loss of my sis-in-law....we are going to be ok.....but are still kind of in shock....we are at Niecey's daily appointment and her Doc is trying to contact the hospital up there to see if they can work it out for us to be able to go to Jacksonville for the funeral and do her daily count check ups at the hospital up there for a couple days.....I am praying this works out ....not sure if it will yet or not....but well....we are finding moments to smile and looking for rainbows.....even though right now they're small ones....talk to you all soon (((hugs)))

I am late today for the news...my daughter took me to breakfast this morning at a Bagel shop we like...they have some really good bagels and flavored cream cheeses...and pastry too...it is hard trying to figure out where and how fast our children grow...my baby will be 28 this May...

Hello CEK! I hope your breakfast was yummy. My kids go nuts for bagels - especially chocolate chip with strawberry cream cheese. You say your baby is nearly 28 ... is there ever a time when we stop thinking of them as our "babies"? I wonder ...

Crazy Horse is the perfect segue to the poems of Tecumseh. He was a leader of the Shawnee Indian tribe, lived in the late 1700's in the area now known as Ohio,  and died in 1813.

The reason I bring it up is that I was recently reading about him.  And I love this (below) that has to do with death.
