Well I am back from my "day off" in the "Sisterhood"  not that I actually had the day off as it turned out to be a loooooooong day yesterday.

Kaleb and Kenzie had their "pee wee wrestling tournament"  yesterday and  that was from 9 am till 1:30 ish.  
Kaleb place 5th in is weight and Kenzie placed 6th...this was Kenzie's first ever tournament and she didn't win any of her matches but she went out there and stuck with it...Kaleb one one of his matches and I have seen such an improvement in his ability over the past few months...he has only been doing this for about a year and Kenzie only months...I was very proud of them both...not sure how long Kenzie will stick with it but she showed the boys she wrestled what "girls are made of"  She can be a girly girl but she can also be tough  and hold her own when it is needed...I think that comes from having an older brother...My daughter is the same way, mostly because she had an older brother and there were always a house full of his friends here...she can deal with the boys it is the "girl drama" she could never handle...LOL

So, by the time I got home and finally ate something it was time to start supper then I had a few things to get finished , hemming pants for hubby, and by the time I sat down, I was gone for the night...LOL

But, thank you View, for bringing over the news yesterday...and I am sorry I missed those that were on the board too...

Let me see what I missed yesterday...

I get worried about these contact sports, CEK.  When you see them at the highest level, there are bandages and joint supports everywhere.  A part of me is wishing your babies find another activity.  But I know you're a proud Grandma.
 

I know what you mean Gabriele...I don't think Kenzie is going to be doing this much longer personally..I think the only reason she even did it in the first place was because her brother was doing it.  She has only done cheering prior to this and really didn't like it much...The thing she loves the most is cooking and makeup and she likes to be have someone video her when she is cooking like a tv show...Kaleb actually loves wrestling and he is good as his age will allow him to be...It has helped him with his ADD because he has to stay focused and use his mind as well has his body to execute his moves.  But I guess we will see how far he goes with it...He did play football but and was good for the first time playing but he was not as interested in it as he is wrestling...He has loved wrestling as long as he has been old enough to know what it is...not the type of wrestling that is on TV and the WWF...

Not out here....too much fencing repair work for very large areas. Most range is barbed wire for that reason....with cattle guards on the access road entrances. 

I think you are right about that Jet...I do remember seeing barbed wire used still....

Well it is the evening of the end of the weekend.  Hope you all had a good one and were able to enjoy what ever you may have done...

It was quite cold here over the weekend and the wind was a bit strong so that made it feel even colder.  However we should start to warm up to the 60 and 70 this week again...I hope so cause I don't do well in the cold like I use to...Hubby and I actually wanted to move to Vermont after the children grew up and left home...well no anymore...however Vermont was when we last visited it a lovely state.  

Let me peek at the news before the finale of Victoria comes on tonight...I hate this is the last show I actually enjoyed it...View are you still watching...

Then the new season of Once Upon A Time starts tonight too...
