No doubt. We don't give the same level of coverage to foreign acts of terrorism. They happen all too frequently around the world.

My daughter friend lives in England and I have family over there too!

No kidding. Terrorists want to let the US know that they can strike anywhere anytime....it was an American singer (never heard of her but that's not unusual!!! LOL)...and may have had something to do with the prez being over in that area.

Hey, CEK....it's been kinda hot. Today not bad,

A couple friends and I went to a local theatre to see Vicki Lawrence/Mama on Saturday. She/they were AWESOME!!!! One very talented lady! I had no idea she had a 1 hit wonder....written by her 1st hubby, recorded by her. It was "The Nite the Lights Went Out in Georgie!" Who woulda known!!! She actually sang about 3 songs in the 1st half when she was Vicki--and maybe 4 in the 2nd half as Mama. One of those was Mama singing a rap song and dancing as she did it!!! VERY FUNNY!!!!!!!
sounds awesome!!!! and I didn't know she sang either....LOL

I know....funny, huh? She actually made 2 records in the early 1970s!!!! LOL. Her voice is still quite good for a woman her age. Some people just lose it and should have quit years before, but she is one of those exceptions. We saw Anne Murray live a number of years ago by now...she was in her 60s at the time and her voice was still awesome.

BTW--I'm doing well, but Im pretty tired today. It was a busy weekend. I stayed up late Saturday night, waiting for R2D2 to come home from prom, and then we had to get up early Sunday for robotics.

Oh, wow!!! The worst part is the waiting for kids to come home, isn't it?!!! LOL

LOL....I love these two....they seem to have so much fun
