Good morning friends.  Lots of ladybugs around the yard at this time of year.

LOL....one time a few years ago I had a pretty cloth wreath hanging on the front of the house.  I thought it was pretty, casual, and didn't have a seasonal look or connotation, so it hung there all summer.

Oh, like this one - only each square was cut with a pinking shears and it was in very pale blue/gray and soft pink and looked nice on our gray house.  You poke with a chopstick or pencil -the square in to a wreath foundation  (I should make another one - first one I got at a Craft Fair and it is long gone.)



Anyway, I went out to take it in in the fall, sweep off the deck, take down the dying hanging plants, etc.

And in almost every one of those little poked cavities - was a lady bug who found a snug little place to over winter!!!!   I shook it and banged it on the porch railing and literally dozens of lady bugs came crashing out.  

Lucky it was some little, kind of cute bug. And not spiders etc.

Hey April...Been thinking about you...Hope things don't go as bad as they are predicting.  My hubby and his sister got my MIL and they brought her to my SIL in NC.  My MIL is on oxygen and was afraid the power would go out and she would't be able to get it so my sister in law that lives in the villages is looking into a generator for the house.  Stay safe.  Let us know how you are when you can.

Beautiful fall like day here, but I am thinking of all those south of me in the potential path of Irma.  I remember when Charlie his Florida in 04 and we were at Disney World.  It was an experience.
