I would appreciate it if you would all say a prayer for my two older girls. They are taking their black belt test tonight and tomorrow. Tonight especially is going to be very intense physically and emotionally. I have told them both to carry niecey with them on their journey. I'm very proud of them, but I'm definitely nervous about tonight, especially.

I hope the prayers were a positive for the girls.  I hope they did well and will continue to do the same tomorrow.
Will continue to send prayers for them both.

April--I'm praying for you. Please stay safe! Although I told the girls to carry niecey with them on their black belt test I told them that she might be too busy looking out for her family in Florida. Hugs.

Thanks.....after a long day yesterday we are evacuated.....we live very close to a large lake so had to evacuate and were going to stay at my cousins ....but after having just lost niecey my hubby wanted my son and I to leave our area completely.....he has to stay to work the hurricane, so can't come with us, but said he just needed to know we were in a safe place...so my son and I are in Jax and staying at my nieces house with other evacuated family members and friends....luckily having lived here all my life I know the back ways to go so we didn't get caught in the horrible traffic on the interstate.....it should only be a cat 1 here so we should be ok....our house will prob be on the east side of the storm which is generally the stronger side but they now think it will be high cat 2 or maybe low 3 which is much better than predictions last night of high cat 3 to cat 4...so a little good news ...we will be following progress closely and I'll keep you all updated as much as I can (((Hugs)))

Prayers to you and your whole family and hubby that has to remain for work...this is a big storm.  I got a message that Disney is closing through Monday and only the guests in the resorts will be allowed to stay.  My daughter and her hubby are suppose to be down there next Saturday.  My MIL won't probably go back till next weekend.  My SIL will be getting a generator so her oxygen will be able to work...

Glad to know you and your son are in a safe place, April.  After seeing what Harvey did to Texas, I am so concerned about Florida and everyone in the path of this storm.  It was very concerning to see the news reports about so many people trying to get a flight out of Florida.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all...praying that any damage to the state will be minimal, and above all, that there are no fatalities.

Oh, and CEK, I seem to remember reading that your mother-in-law lives in Florida?  If so, I hope she too found a safe place to stay if she was in an evacuation zone.

I stumbled across an article about something I had never thought about, but it's something she should all be mindful of if we plan to leave town for a few days.

Booky good to hear from you and thank you for thinking about my MIL...Yes she is at her daughter in NC.  My hubby and his sister went down last Sunday to visit for the week and with the storm coming they left early and took my MIL to her daughters.  My MIL is on oxygen and they don't have a generator yet for when the power goes out.

Re: Summer, the Season between the Seasons

Well it is late and here I am again.  It has been yet another day of confusing calls from the hospital about my visit and impending PT as a result of the accident.  I told the insurance adjuster that this insurance mess has caused me more pain than the accident has.

Also had the Weather Channel on all day listening about this terrible storm.  It is just unbelievable. Haven't talked to my SIL to see if they had to leave or not.

Not sure how much I will get posted to night but I will post more in the morning hopefully.

Tomorrow is Kaleb and Kenzies first football/cheering for the new season.  Thank goodness she is cheering for Kalebs team.  Not sure if I will go cause there are no comfortable seats and no shade either.  Hubby will be the one to go till I feel more like it.

Entertainment Tonight Weighs In On The New Cast Of DWTS Season 25, More Interviews

This is a cool interview with Debbie Gibson and Alan Bersten. Listen to see why they have some common goals and energy right now for Dancing With The Stars. They make a good match. I can see now why TPTB brought Alan in. From ET….
