    Good Afternoon to you all.  Hope this finds everyone well so far today and enjoying their Sunday.  

    April I am sure it is a bit more tense for you all there in FL.  My SIL said they are getting some wind but it hadn't started raining but that was early this morning.  I hope things are safe there and for your home too and your hubby.

    I wanted to say "hey" and then I must run to the grocery store but will be back later on to post more news.

    I just realized that I forgot to post that the girls both received their black belts! After the test, we found out that the younger one has strep throat. So, it turns out that getting her black belt was even more of an accomplishment than we realized! Yesterday was also my youngest daughter's birthday. So, busy weekend!

    OMG!!!!!!!!  YAY!!!  CONGRATS!!!!   That is such a huge accomplishment!!!!  So excited for them!!!!

    Everything going ok so far......windy and rainy.....I got drawn into a long monopoly game with my nephews...LOL....I lost to an 11 year old *hanging head in shame*...(we are trying to keep the kids distracted) .......We still have power here in Jax but several fam and friends down south (including my hubby)  are starting to say they have lost power...please keep praying the worst of it won't come through until the middle of the night tonight.....on my tablet now so can't bring it over but there is video's out there of the water being sucked out of Tampa Bay and other places due to Irma....I have NEVER seen this before, neither has anyone else.....it's kind of eerie.....will update more soon ((hugs)) 🙂

    I am very happy to hear that they both got their black belts.  Your little one is a trouper...hope she gets over her strep throat quickly.

    Glad everything is okay.....so far.....I watched a little bit of the coverage and it mentioned the tornado warnings, and the surge that follows.  I don't think "we non-Floridians" really get what you are going through.  We only see the damage afterwards, but "riding through a hurricane" is a completely different "beast".  I will continue to pray for everyone down in harms way.

    Thanks for updating AND don't worry.....losing a game of Monopoly to an 11 year old is okay with me. LOL.

    Hey, April.....OMG!!!!!  That is CRAZY!!  I remember seeing the tsunami in Sri Lanka a few years back where the water was sucked back and then crashed onto the shore with great devastation.   I have been out most of the day so have not stayed up with the current state of Irma over FL.  Praying that you and your family--wherever they are--as well as everyone in Florida will emerge from this beast of a storm finding blessings in there somewhere.  I know that sounds goofy, but there will be things to be thankful for in there for the finding.  Stay safe.....and keep us posted on how hubby is doing as he braves things at home.🙏🙏❤️❤️

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.
