Evening to you all.  Hope your day was good.

I have to tell you all this about Kaleb.  After he was watching all the weather reports before, during and after both Hurricane Harvey and Irma he said to his mama  that he was thinking about all the children in school like him and Kenzie that may have lost all their school supplies in the flooding.  He said he wanted to collect "School Supplies" to send to Texas and Florida.  So after thinking about it his mama got with him and she put on her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter what Kaleb wanted to do and the rest is history as they say.  He has gotten quite a few donations of supplies and about 150.00 in cash donations.  Then tonight one of the local news stations contacted my DIL and asked if they could come and interview Kaleb and talk to him about his decision.  Well they did and Kaleb will be on the 11:00 local news...I am so proud of him he never ceases to amaze me with his kind heart....except where his sisters a concerned.

Now let me check the rest of the news while I am still awake.

CEK.....this is absolutely beautiful!!  How very proud you must be of your little guy!!  Hearing something like this, with all that is going on in the world,  gives me hope for the future!!  Thank you for sharing this.....xoxoxoxo

Re: Summer, the Season between the Seasons

Good morning everyone,

The air quality is better here today thus far (we're only in the yellow Warning stage, whereas yesterday we went in to orange, then red all day!)  so I am planning to get outside and finish washing the foundation of the house on the one side.  When the hydro-turfers came last fall to spray on the grassseed mulch combo, it splashed up on the foundation and fence gate.  I thought with time and rain and snow it would disappear, but no.  And I am wanting to hire the foundation painted this fall, so bucket and brush and hose cleaning is on my to do list.  Also is the day I meet with my school chums for lunch....I have not heard an update on the gal's daughter with the MRSA infection.

The areas in Wash, Montana, etc. where the fires are raging I think are expecting some rain and showers which may help.  We, too, are expecting rain tomorrow which should wash the air clean somewhat.   The warning I saw regarding western states though, is that the light rain storms could also cause lightening strikes - and so there we go again with possible fires.    Ughhh.

I do and always have loved Anne Geddes' photography.  She has been around for many many years and if you are not familiar with her, her photos are such:

She was a true original to my mind.  I have read articles in the past re: how she has such contented and happy baby doing and posing is such scenarios!!  There have been many photogs who do similar since her huge popularity began 25 years ago....  She's Australian.
