Good morning, Sisters!  Almost time to head to the Golden Girls' bunco afternoon, but as I lurked...and perused the Val/Jenna info for a moment,,,,,I was struck by this thought:

Isn't this about where we all began on this ship!!???  Maks and Peta had been together and she was always lurking (and are now together again!), with an interval of MnM, and Val and Jenna were suspected to be an item that season as well....and now, 3 years later, not much has changed, has it??!!!  LOL. Oh---and don't let me forget to mention that there were always rumors at least of Meryl and Fed(Ex--for a time anyway).  I just thought the irony was worthy of note!!!  LOL.  As much as things have changed, not much has changed at all (in terms of pairings, at least)!!!!  LOL

Of course, we all wouldn't have had much to talk about, would we, had the status quo just continued without interference or complication?!!!  LOL

Hi guys....wanted to give you an update on Niecey.....she is still on the vent but did show some improvement today overall....the doctors told us today that the kind of fungal pneumonia she has is one that is slow to get rid of so the signs of progress would be baby steps....and we got one of those baby steps today as there was a slight improvement with her breathing and kidney function   ....dialysis is going well and they have been able to drain off a lot of the excess fluid.....her Cat scan came back good so they don't believe there is any infection in her brain PRAISE GOD!!......they are going to do a spinal tap to make sure there are no infection signs there also but based on the Cat Scan don't think there will be.....so keep praying.....but today there were some small rainbows ....even during the storm.....talk to you all soon....you guys are the best (((hugs)))

I am very happy to hear of her small steps of improvement.  Each mile in life starts with just a step.  I hope and pray that she will continue to make these steps towards good health.  I am holding your hand as well as your families as you walk together through this difficult time.  Know that we sisters are here for you.  HUGS

 

April, I was going to respond to your post but after reading Luv's post and the poem I couldn't have said my response to you any better. I am just overjoyed that Niecey had even the smallest step to recovery, and as Luv said we are all here for you every step you take you are not alone.
