does anyone else think Derek sounded just bitter/bothered by the subject, especially his initial reaction? like the fact that dwts ~drama has to interfere with people’s wedding days or just being already tired of the inevitable comparisons. or maybe the question does ring a little too true and there has been some guest list shenans behind the scenes. but idk I didn’t really read it as obviously shady, just like initially a reaction of why are we talking about this this is annoying lol and then trying to come up with any kind of reasonable answer to an awkward question lol
The question sounded like a softball. She set him up to talk about celebrating everyone. IMO he is way too skilled at interviews not to be able to handle that question in a more positive way
