April, did your hubby get the new TV set up?  How do you like it?

yeah he did....and I really do like it

I guess, if you can't agree on the TV program, there is always the new aquarium to 'watch' as well.  We've had gold fish at some state.  It's so calming to watch them with the steady humming of the air pump in the background.

You probably won't need heating.  The combined body heat will do.  *lol*

Speaking of which, April, how is your doggie doing?  Has he moved his bed from the heat vent? LOL

he's doing well.....and yeah its warmed up so we haven't had to run the heat for several days

Mostly in the "country" with lots of land, but there are a few business in the city that have a few to store energy.  Mostly for arenas.

I use to have fish, but they all kept dying.  It became too much of a hassle, but I do love to watch them swim.

Do you get to the beach often?  Of course and hour away isn't that close.  I bet you have beautiful "water".

We don't actually.  My eldest's Father lives at the coast, so he could share the water sports with him when he grew up.  But he hasn't come to like it.  With my little guy, I'm too worried that he doesn't have good enough water safety awareness as yet.  When we went there some years ago, it was on a beach where they dredge.  I wasn't aware that there was such a drop just in front of our feet.  Suddenly, a black triangular fin cut through the water right in front of us.  It was probably a dolphin, but my little guy and I were spooked by it, as it was so unexpected.  It was about as close as you would sit in front of each other across a dining table.

Oh wow....that is close.....do you get a lot of rip tides there

Yes, you can definitely get carried out into the open ocean.  On the more popular beaches, there are flags to tell you where it is safe to swim out.
