Nope.....don't get all of the interesting TV channels.  Mine are just "over the air". LOL

That does sound neat.

We have some humid days as well, but the majority is dry, as the main wind direction is Northerly from the desert.  Is it humid where you are?

here in Florida, yes.....LOL....we specialize in humidity....LOL.....I think Jet and Gunner have the drier heat on the West coast

Eeeek.  I hate the humid heat.  It's call it 'suicide season' in the Northern Territory.  Everything goes moldy right under your eyes.....  do you use the airconitioner to dry the air in your home?

yeah down here most years we have to use the AC probably 9 or so months out of the year

I think a livestream for the Four Continents Championships in Taipei is about to start.  The free dance is on.  Your US teams might sweep the podium there.  Hawayek/Baker lead the competition after the short dance.  Are you following it, since these teams followed in Meryl/Charlie's footsteps?

I haven't even been able to see any of the skating.  I have no idea when it is on.LOL  Probably the weekends?  I love to watch the skating.  I bet that Tess and Scott will win Gold at the Olympics, we might get a medal though.

The talk is that gold and silver will be between the French and Canadians, with the bronze up for grabs and most likely going to the US.  If you go to the 'Goldenskate' forum (where Booky and I found each other way back then), scroll right down to where the threads on the competitions are, there is mostly a subcategory for available life streams and archived performances.   Your team Hubbel/Donohue is one of my favourites.

Yes, you can definitely get carried out into the open ocean.  On the more popular beaches, there are flags to tell you where it is safe to swim out.

that's the same here too

I waded in the ocean down in FL once, didn't go too far out though.

I love the beaches but it helps to know where and when to go

They are my favorite of the USA teams too.  Not sure why but I just don't connect with the Shibs....shh...don't tell Meryl. LOL

I agree, I think the Canadians will get gold and then the French.  I really like the French team too. Actually, I don't want to see Tess/Scott win.....shh....don't tell HRM....LOL
