Hi Sisters, I am sorry that I was unable to join you all earlier.  And I don't think that I am going to be able to tomorrow night either.   But I did drop by to see if any of you were still here.  Scot and Tessa are beatable.   Papadakis and Cizeron beat them this past Dec. in the Grand Prix finale.  Right now Papdakis and Cizeron own the world records.   You all may not remember but I posted Papadakis and Cizeron's free dance that won them the world title in 2015.  They are ethereal.  They have the same coaches that Tessa and Scot now have.   I say now because the French ice dance team had already been with these coaches and had moved to Canada to work with them.
 

 
Oh...just missed you.   Missed you tonight and will miss you tomorrow.  Glad to hear Tessa and Scott are not a lock for gold...will have to look up that video again...shh..don't tell hrm...but I hope Tessa and Scott don't get gold...lol

Are you fully recovered from your illness?  My SIL had 2 separate cold viruses about 2 weeks apart, then got the flu!  Been a rough winter for her family.  She figures her 7 year old granddaughter gave her the flu; she was out of school for more than a week.

Was a shame the Knierims couldn't replicate the stellar skates of their short program where they beat a couple of pairs who are normally ahead of them.  So the free skate was probably more what was to be expected of them.  I read Chris Knierim had a knee injury not too long ago.  Most of the predictions and model calculations prior to the team event concluded that bronze is the most likely outcome, it being unlikely to come out worse or better for team USA.  That still seems to be the case.  Italy is only one point behind in fourth.  The Shibs will most likely beat the Italian team of Capellini and Lanotte in the free dance.  Then I would expect that Adam Rippon will also beat Matteo Rizzo, the young Italian.  In the ladies, it would seem that Carolina Kostner will do better than Mirai Nagasu.  By how much is the question.  Let's hope Mirai can pull out her triple axle which, to my knowledge, no other lady in that field will attempt.  In any case, very unlikely for the USA to lose bronze. We'll see. 

It is a school morning for us, when the team event concludes.  Not quite sure yet, how/when I manage to log on.  Enjoy, sisters!  After the team event, we'll have to wait a full two days for the individual competitions to start.  Oh, the suspense!!!    *lol*
