I have been following your posts: poor mouse. Poor Gabriele for having to observe the mouse when thinking about getting something to eat.
In the meantime, we are battening down the hatches and getting ready for a winter storm. School is closed. I taught for years and usually we did not close school until we saw what was on the ground the next morning. And so we had to listen to the radio with great hope that school was closing. The reason they waited: storms don't always materialize.
I plan to be here tomorrow night for the opening ceremonies.
Sweet dreams April and Gabriele.

A urine sample, yes.
Ok so .....ummmm.......totally different subject.....but that reminded me.....LOL....the nurses in the bone marrow unit ....when the kids had to go off the unit.....liked to put apple juice in new, clean urine specimen cups and give it to the kids and tell them to open it and drink it when they got where they were going to freak people out....LOL!!!!!!!
Hahaha..... that's neat!
When we were in Germany in the early 2000s, there was a fad of drinking some of your urine for medicinal purposes. I couldn't believe it, but apparently my friends knew someone personally who did it. They said the body odour was 'different'......
OMG!!!.....LOL!!! I don't think I could do that one....no matter what the benefits....LOL

So far we have not canceled a dinner because of the weather. I tried to cancel a picnic dinner in July of 2016 on the very hottest day of the year. But three of us decided to stick around, and we couldn't believe it----sixty people showed up including the president of the university. In Dec of 2016, it was 20 below but we still held the dinner. Our next dinner is on Feb. 18th.
