Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Hi all......good to hear from you,  Everything is taken care of so no webby attacks  LoL

Things have been really rough lately.  I got hit with the flu and was down for almost 2 weeks.  I just started to get better when I got news a really good friend was in the hospital so I went to see him  I put on the gown, gloves double mask just for a short visit.  I got a really bad feeling so as I was leaving I said love you JJ   see you tomorrow.  The following morning I got the news that he passed away.  It was absolutely devastating which put me back down with the flu...  I'm now on the road to recovery health wise and hopefully it won't hit me again for another 20 years  LoL

CEK PM for you
I sent you a reply PM  Thanks HRM

HRM, so sorry for your loss.  It was nice that you were at least able to say "goodbye" and that he knew how much you cared and how much he meant to you before he past.

UGH, that flu.  It has been HORRIBLE this year.  It doesn't surprise me that you had a relapse and that it has taken you so long to recover. I too, had it (picked it up in November.  The fever last a few weeks, but that darn cough, well,  I am just NOW completely over that.  UGH.  I hope you feel completely well soon.  HUGS

Glad you stopped in for a bit.  Hope you can pop in again.....this time for fun and not trolls. LOL

Re: Olympic Chat Party

Hello everyone, getting close to evening here and what does my weather bring? Snow and freezing rain. LOL  The ground is still "warm", so it will probably melt, but wow....I guess, spring is postponed for me.  Temps are continuing to drop, will be in the 20's for lows. Just had to come and share with my sisters.......what a crazy winter this has (and is) this season. LOL !!!

I had to chuckle when the article said the twins were due "any day now".  Kym no doubt has a scheduled C-section date so unless she goes into labor prior to that, the "any day" is already a given!  It's a longer recovery with twins....I wonder if they plan to have a nanny or if Kym's mom will just be here to help out.  Excited to see what they name the babies.  Hopefully nothing funky!  If I'd had twins, I would have given them names with a common first letter....like Brett and Brooke....or maybe even with all common initials.  It will be fun to see the pics.  I'm sure Kym has no idea how tired she will be in the first year....working out uncommon schedules, changing diapers two at a time but at different times, etc.!!  My daughter's friend with 2 sets of twins nursed one on each side!!!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Awwwww, Luv.....stay cozy till the snow passes!

Daughter is driving down from NoCal right now.  It's been rain all the way (she is about 4 hours out)....but weather shows only cloudy in about another hour from where they were when she texted.  Her right knee has blown up like a balloon, which it usually does when she has the pedal to the metal for long periods of time.  She's never been able to get a real diagnosis on the knee!  It comes and goes....from when one of their big Labs plowed into the back of her knee years ago and shoved her down a few stairs into their garage.  MRIs have not shown meniscus tear or anything of that nature.  Really weird.

Hi Jet, Your daughter and I are "twins". LOL  I too, was knocked down by a dog and now have a knee issue. It "swells" in size, but not as big as a balloon.  It kind of stays semi-swollen all of the time, but does have days where it is normal looking in size.  I haven't had any Drs look at it and it has been several years since the incident. Your daughter is smarter then me for at least she had some tests done on hers.  I am not sure if finding "nothing wrong" or "not finding the cause" is the best in her situation.  It sounds kind of scary that it swells so big.  Maybe, it has something to do with pressure she puts on it while sitting, especially since she has a lead foot when driving. LOL  Hopefully, when she arrives, she isn't in any pain from her knee and that it isn't too terrible swollen. Hope things go smoothy for you all this weekend.

How are you all doing this morning?
I wanted to bring a little sun in since we don't have any today.  Yesterday was in the mid 70's and today it is high 40 to low 50 and rain...

Going to see what is happening in the news department!

Well that makes us triplets since I too have a knee issue.  I do know what is wrong with mine and they are saying a knee replacement will be the only cure but guess what...I am not getting one unless they tell me my leg will fall off...LOL
No more elective surgeries for me...is the plan!

Luv stay warm and hopefully Mother Nature will get it together soon!!!  LOL
