I think it's a little bit distorted. They knew, traveling with a baby would be a challenge.
But maks told us they didn't expect winter weather throughout all if March and a lot of April. It meant they were cooped up in the bus or theater instead of being able to go to a park.

Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy Open Up About Parenting While on Tour: 'It's Very Hard'
Couldn't help but LOL when I just saw this headline!! Surely this was no surprise....OTOH, maybe a much bigger surprise than M&P expected it to be!!![]()
. The greatest delusion with the first child is thinking your life will ever be as easy or the same as BC (before children)!! After the first child fascination, life becomes very normal again...in a different way!! Kids first....everything else when you can fit it in!!! LOL. Wonder if they are planning a tour for next year??

The whole bus travel must be very confining. We did a couple fire contracts with an infant the first year and toddler the second. It was a bit like camping for 3-1/2 months but wasn't quite like living on the road. At least we were planted in one place for the duration. You have to be prepared for the unexpected....and know that you really can't take much for granted.

Jet, glad you got your rhubarb planted. my grandma planted some one year, but I can't remember if she got a crop or not. lol. I think I have pretty much finished my garden, maybe one or two more plants to go. It rained today, so they were all happy for a drink, I am like you, do not water often enough. Lol
Hey, Luv....hubby's grandma grew rhubarb every year (at least that's what he claims!) in southwestern Colorado so I'm hoping that mine at least takes root and gives us something! It's very dry there as well, so hoping the water they say it needs (equivalent to 1" of rainfall/week---we only get an average of 12"/year here!!!!) isn't really accurate! My hope is that it is more or less like a weed---plant it and it will grow!! LOL
I'm going to add a couple more tomato plants, I think; after that will be finished. We shopped at the nursery when the granddaughters were here a few weeks ago and they helped plant everything. Funny thing was that when we got home, we had all sorts of things I didn't realize we bought!!! LOL. So we are a bit heavy on the viney veg this year....yellow zucchini, crook necked squash, watermelon, honeydew, and pumpkin!!!!! Everything that will sprawl all over the place and become a jungle!!! It will be fun to watch! I need to send them a photo soon. We'll have lettuce to harvest here shortly.
You are lucky to get summer rain....doesn't happen here except from a garden hose!!![]()
We've had some rhubarb many years ago. It did grow like a weed, but mainly the foliage, the stalks weren't very substantial.

I think I am a bit tired tonight. I get a little goofy when I need sleep. LOL

Okay, I am assuming that next Monday will be pretty much the same format as last week. Two couples going home. So, guesses for this week will be, two couples going home, highest INDIVIDUAL dance, and who you think will win the team dance.

Hope this finds everyone well today. All here are doing well, thank heavens.
I posted the songs for week two.
Going to see what else is out there. Things are pretty quite in the news department except for the Maks, Val and Peta Tour...
