Lindsay is, I think, maybe the best female pro. She has had some tough partners....some real "new guys" to dance....and has created fun dances and they've stuck around much longer than anticipated!!

Actually, grandson is not at all interested in airplanes, which reallly is a disappointment for my hubby!! But he sometimes does work on models with his dad....so there might be a little bit of hope!!!! He certainly has the mechanical and engineering interest that could lead in that direction. Daughter's eldest daughter used to always say she wanted to fly airplanes like PaPa.... I haven't asked her lately if she is still interested. 

It would be awesome if one of them did share the interest....kind of a shared generational hobby

Yes...I keep hoping too!  Son didn't really get interested in radio control until I challenged him...said I was going to fly his airplane!....when he was 10 or 11....and in like 2 weeks he soloed!!!  LOL. He always built plastic model airplanes, tho, from the time he was 3-1/2.  He also had Tonka dump truck overflowing with all the metal Match Box airplanes....knew each one by name....and knew what he was missing!!!  LOL
