No Toni D at the wedding.... not that I'm surprised....  also Henry Byaliko isn't in the 'inner circle' any longer?  Hmmm.

Wishing all my Sisters a Happy Easter!

Did you see in the tabloids that Val's ex partner Amber Rose is expecting a baby in October?

Re: Get ready for DWTS Season 27

Happy Easter, everyone!

So sorry to hear about all Jet's travails!   I've been keeping VERY busy with our new addition.   He's 4 months old today and quite a handful.   He's really very good for a puppy and very smart, but, like a toddler, you have to supervise him every minute.   It's actually easier at work where I contain him in my office or between my office and my assistant's.   Our home has a very open floor plan, and there are no doors to shut.   I'm running out of high places to put things, and he's tall enough now do jump up and find more things!

I'm off to Houston with a late flight on Monday evening to see Tony and the others.  I'll post a report when I return.   The first workshop is with Tony at 1 p.m. and the last 2 with Karina at 8-9 in the evening.   Then I have a 5:30 flight home on Wed. morning.

Sorry, I had to use this.  I haven't laughed so much in a long time.

Re: Get ready for DWTS Season 27

Just checking in to wish everyone HAPPY EASTER!!!  I looked for some cute graphics but didn’t find what I thought I wanted to post.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow with family and/or friends!

I’ve busted my chops today preparing food (most of the day) and finishing up the clean up and clear out (HAHA!) for the invasion of my family over the next several days!!   Feeling rather like I’m kind’ve in control now...and hubby is snoozing in the reciner in front of some aliens from outer space nonsense!!!  It is soooo stimulating that as soon as he turns to that station, he is fast asleep!!!!!  LOL. LOL.

Thank you all for your kind wishes.  I feel as though the situation with hubby’s stents was by far the least worrisome medical thing that has been going on among family and friends so I haven’t been terribly concerned really nor stressed over it.  As Luv noted, it is incredible what they do now in an almost non-invasive manner.  For the angiogram they only give a Valium to relax the arteries and then twilight sleep during the procedure so they come out of the OR wake and alert!!  Just amazing!!!  But enough of all that stuff.  My SIL is still at the nursing home every day with her hubby who is now having trouble expelling the CO2 from his lungs again.  It makes him koo-koo due to the lack of O2 to the brain.  I’m just not sure how that is going to resolve itself.  We have another long-time friend with pancreatic cancer who is day-to-day but still pretty functional and another with prostate cancer.  So we feel mighty fortunate....for sure!  We count our blessings every day!

Looking forward to the invasion of daughter and children.  Our plans are coming together.  Granddaghter #1 (hockey player) is on a roller hockey team during the off (ice) season.  They will be playing a tournament nearby next weekend so the SD group will come up and spend Friday nite with us, we’ll all go to the Saturday morning (back-to-back) games, then have lunch together before taking Granddaughter #2 to the hotel in Anaheim to spend the next few days with her Science Fair group.  This should be a good growing experience for her.  She doesn’t have much experience “living with” others other than her family so that will be interesting!!  She can be pretty intolerant...but hopefully without familiar folks around she will keep it together!!!!!  LOL

OH.....I have to tell you how THRILLED I am that while my DIL was in Sacramento this week helping her grandmother pack up for a move down south closer to her family, she came across an absolutely GORGEOUS 1910 Singer treadle sewing machine...in near perfect condition!...that her grandmother bought in an antique shop some 20+ years ago.  Here’s the funny part:  Grandma never opened it up...she just thought it was a nice cabinet!!!!  LOL. Only this week did she find out it contained a TREASURE!!!!  Grandma had sort’ve offered it to the gal across the street, so when DIL and the 2 grandkids discovered the contents of the “cabinet” (!) they KNEW I would love it!!!!  DIL made some magic before flying home...and I will be inheriting this jewel in a couple of weeks when they move Grandma down here!!!  Turns out Gunner has a similar treadle machine from 1909....but she was totally impressed with the condition of the decals on my machine!!  DIL says everything moves super smoothly!!!!  I hope to be able to find the correct bobbin and try to sew on it!!  I know someone who repairs and refurbishes Singer featherweight machines, so he has a source for old Singer parts.

Anyway, I think it will be time to head to bed here shortly.  I need to put together one more salad before then!!!

Happy Easter to One and All!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Hi, Tango....your pup looks sooo cute....and I know he keeps you smiling even when he is a bit out of control!  Have you jumped ship from DWM to dance with Tony?  I hope you will let us know how he is doing.
