Nice you are home schooling her, vmmm. I’ve read that about 20% of kids now are being home schooled. Too much conflicting info and too much loss of freedoms in public school. My daughter, who is a HS teacher, has a head ache every day from the mask. Breathing your exhaled CO2 isn’t great for anyone!right.....thats a long time to have to wear one
There's no mask mandate at her school at this point, and she's too young to be vaccinated. Cases are going up, though, so they may have to start masking at some point. But right now she has no protection.
I know, it's hard to believe she's in 6th grade.
Time goes by too fast.......

Is her new "mask" helping at all?She said the jewels are heavy and her glasses bug her also!!
Ah......there is another mask that is like what she has without the jewels, it is suppose to be real light and breathable. I think you can get it on Amazon. I haven't tried it, but if we go to having to mask again....might.
The jewels mask the mesh, which allows air flow. I haven’t asked her this week how it is going. Will do that.

so ...not sure this will help but Niecey had a simple trick for masks.....she wore them all the time before Covid was a thing .....and she figured this out and said it made them more tolerable for her to wear .....get a new tube of chapstick in a flavor you like and run it lightly along the top inside of the mask (across the nose piece basically) .....then you smell the scent of the chapstick and not your own breath....it also helps glasses from fogging....I've tried it and it really does help

I never have believed the masks are effective. It’s becoming more clear they are more about control than protection. I find it amusing when you see someone driving in a car with a mask on and the windows up!! LOL. Maybe the driver hopes to prevent inhaling exhaust fumes!!! LOL

Vmm.........again, might have missed your response, but how is your business doing? Have you had any problems due to covid?
Oh, it's been slow, but it is picking up again. We had a lot of trouble in December because the Post Office pretty much imploded. Things didn't move. We couldn't run any sales once we go into December. I hope this year is better.
do things pick up for you around Christmas usually???

That is interesting! Will let her know!! The head aches are from breathing the CO2 that stays inside the mask. If I have to put one on, I keep it below my nose!! LOL.
