I think it gets tougher as everyone gets older!!!😋True. I miss the days of Toys R Us.
I miss that too. Plus the fact that it isn't like it use to be we all just get what we want when we want it. My DIL and I was talking about that today. Plus they have started Christmas this year at Halloween and there have been Black Friday Sales since then too.Â
We’ll….they are trying to get people to shop early so everything will be out while the ships with containers float out in the ocean off our shore here!!!  It is soooo NOT necessary for it to be this way.

I don't totally get WHY they can't get them unloaded and on to trucks. I hear that the truck drivers are just sitting there waiting for the goods.

I don’t think they are franchises.  Pretty sure they are all corporate owned.  I may be wrong but don’t think so.

Second this post......
Glad that C is doing well and is home. Will she need to be on Meds for the rest of her life?
Were the Drs able to stop E's seziures?Âyes C probably will need meds for the foreseeable future at least....and the seizure stop for a while and then come back....the swelling in her head has gone down and they are hoping that the seizures will fully subside since they have slowed since the swelling went down.....it makes me so angry that this innocent baby and her family are going through this all because some one chose to drive drunk.....I mean it was totally preventable....sorry....don't mean to rant...this has just been bringing back a lot of painful memories for me this week....but this......well.......one Uber ride could have prevented this family from going through this and this baby is going to have such a long road to full recovery , ya know Â
Totally agree with you. I hope they throw the book at the person, although, that usually doesn't stop them. UGH.. Have you heard that the new cars are going to put something in it that you have to breathe in it (to make sure you haven't been drinking) before the car will start? I don't know how many years away that is and it will not help with the older cars, but thought I would mention it.
I agree with you about this. It is senseless act of stupidity.

It is typical CA stupidity!  The unions are holding things up, the state law has banned trucks manufactured prior to a certain year, so many truckers have had to sell their rigs.  Then CA doesn’t allow trucks from states that allow the older trucks, so they can only come to the state line where they transfer the trailer to one that is allowed on CA roads!!!  It is REALLY STUPID!!  AND STUCK ON STUPID HERE!!!

I heard the same thing. Makes no sense to me at all. it is almost like they are doing it to cause that rush of I have to go and buy because they may not be able to.
