I I agree.  Measles is still the most contagious of all the virus.  Did you have them or did you get the shot?  I had anything that had spots when I was younger.  The only vaccine I remember getting was smallpox and polio and we got them at school.

 
I don’t actually know if I ever had them.....I did have chicken pox though

LOL.........yep..........but you are so right, you have to start doing "normal" things eventually, and you have done all you can to protect yourself, so......just do what you feel comfortable with.  I for one am glad that you are going to be getting together, Children do not stay children for long and you have missed far too much....but, I do get the fear.......don't listen to the news....and enjoy your Christmas.......lol

I agree.  I have missed 2 years of their life really.  You know me my mind will be all over the place wondering but what are you suppose to do.  We are doing all we can.  I probably am way to cautious because I have that anxiety about it, but hopefully it will get better.  At least I have you both to listen to me and we are in a way triplets about the whole thing...LOL  I can't listen to the news cause I will have a panic attack if I do it for long the back and forth about what is good and what isn't .   They make is sound like it is the end of the world.

Right.....we’ll get each other through it.....but you know I live in one of the most open states with least restrictions for some time now.....yet I have heard we have one of the lower rates in the country.....not sure if that true or just a rumor though....I don’t follow the numbers

I did a really bad case of them.  My son had chicken pox when I was pregnant with my daughter and then she had them when she was about 3 or 4.  The vaccine hadn't come out yet for them

 
I didn’t have to get the small pox vaccine I don’t think....at least I don’t have the scar on my arm

I must say, that it does get easier once you have taken that first step to live your life, still, I do have occasions where the fear gets me and have to "check myself" and not let it control me.....easier said then done....at least some of the time....LOL
