Models but they paint them up to replicate a full size aircraft. Hubby has a wicked eye for the colors and knows the color chart backwards and forwards!!
WOW......okay, now you have me curious to know what kind of plane would use fluorescent paint....couldn't have been a "bomber". lol

LOL. Dad wins that debate…he is THE expert, although son it also darned good!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Umm.......so is this a model airplane or a big one? Hey did any of you all see on your news about a small engine plane crash in West Virginia yesterday morning??
No......what happened?
Three of the boys my son went through school with were on a trip to WV to go white water rafting. They were coming home and apparently the plane crashed just about the time it took off. All three were killed. No fire or anything like that.

Shouldn't that be one of the first things a Pilots checks?Ummm…yes! Pilot error not to have all that stuff in order and checked before firing up the engine.
I wonder if the gauge was broken or something......I know NOTHING about planes....it just seems like the would be something that could be easily checked.
Jet I am trying to get a pic of the plane on the board...it is on one of the news reports. It looks to me that the plane is in tack

Yes….they are scale to a full size airplane so they pick a photo of a real airplane they want to build or have built and paint it up to look just like the big one. The airplane in debate is Korean era.
so is it like a model kit or do they have to build the pieces too

Depends on how experienced the pilot was. Sometimes they get distracted and either don’t go thru the check list or don’t do it. The purpose of the checklist is to be certain you don’t miss anything you need to check before take off or landing. All airplanes have them. Low time pilots sometimes just aren’t disciplined or figure it is all ready. Could be a faulty gauge but not likely.
I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

That just makes it even more sadder......IF, it could have been prevented by checking a few things......

there's a Sponge Bob one that fly's over us all the time.....LOL!!! I mean the whole plane is painted to look like Sponge Bob....LOL!!!
