Oh wow.........I know nothing about hurricanes......but the cone doesn't sound good.
So the cone as we call it is ..the cone of uncertainty….if you look at the map of the lines of possible tracks the cones is the area from the farthest right to farthest left it could go….as it gets closer the cone narrowswow..........so a person just doesn't know where it will hit
They get pretty accurate as it gets closer to land fall

He could but has decided to stay up there because he’s in a sturdy buildingThe surge from the ocean can't get to him........right.......just the wind and rain?
No he’s inland far enough….storm surge isn’t a problem

Oh........that is a huge relief.......our news said that some places could see a 20 foot surge, that would be so scary and really be dangerous. It sounds like he is in a pretty safe place, still, it is scary as you never know what could happen with the wind and rain. HUGS!!!!!!
