    Oh yeah it keeps on going…..his head instructor is 8th degree senior…..this is just the biggest because it means your officially a black belt and it can’t be taken away

    Oh, that makes sense.  SO, will D go on to the next level or try something else?  He seems to really love the sport, but he is SOOOOOOOOO good at everything he tries. lol

    That is quite an honor considering how many levels they have to go thru to get to black belt.  You have every reason to be extremely proud!!!

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     Same here.  Did she have surgery??  I know she has had quite a few problems.   Happy she is doing well and that she remembers us!!!  LOL

    Yes, she had knee surgery.  She sent out a mass e-mail, so when you have time to go through your dozens and dozens of emails, you might come across it. lol

    He has to do his pattern in front of a panel of judges…..spar three on one for 10 minutes +. 2 other rounds and break wood with three different breaks

    I really need to see the moves you are referring to!!!  I sooo know nothing about martial arts, I can’t imagine what you’re talking about!!!

     
    LOL….ok ….it can get complicated but after they’ve been doing it this long for them it’s different

    LOL….the parents give the speech to the kid about how proud they are of them basically but it’s public speech in front of everyone

    Oh wow.....sounds neat, but yeah, I think I would want to do that in private, not in front of people. lol Still, I bet it makes the child feel really good to hear such things in front of his peers and parents.

     
    Yep….it gets emotional….lol…..we frequently need the Puffs….but in a good way…lol

    Maybe you can find a video on Utube to show us?  I bet it is interesting to see.

    AMEN to that!!  He is an amazing athlete.  Our “peanut” is kinda like him.  She loves every sport she tries…excells at them all….including basketball!!!  Usually kids who do sports welll are good at excelling at most things they try.

    LOL….the parents give the speech to the kid about how proud they are of them basically but it’s public speech in front of everyone

    In other words, in how many ways can you express how proud you are??!!!  😀. Can you say it in different languages??!!

     
    Actually……LOL….because of our area …..a lot of people do give their speeches in both English and Spanish 😀
