I think Rylee would be a great choice for Robert. I agree, Daniella needs more of an athlete, she can do wonders with that talent.
And she was soooo good with the 6’11” guy…whoever he was!!!

She really grew emotionally on this trip. It was awesome to watch! Yes….a lot of stories and good times. She sold ALOT of cupcakes raise the money to go, so that is also an important factor. I think it really meant something to her.

Working for something means more than just getting something. I think that made her experience even more memorable.

Oh…that is toooo logical for California!!! You know there was a big brouhaha about a dry reservoir in the Pacific Palisades area when they were on fire over there! Politics got in the way. Friend of ours worked for the LA Water and Power Department and knows an engineer who also worked there and lived in Palisades. The reservoir wasn’t far from his home, whcih is Gond….and he knew that there was no water there PRIOR to the fires. May have grounds for a lawsuit….along with the rest of the community. Just incompetence.

You’d think they’d keep the reservoir full

I heard about that...........HOW HORRIBLE.......I hope that something can be done for those that lost their homes. Has anyone even begun to try and rebuild? I hear that the red tape and regulations are just terrible out there.

The red tape hasn’t changed even tho Karen BAss (Mayor) promised it wouldn’t be an issue. The older son of our neighbor across the street lost his house in Altadena. They stayed with her for 3 weeks then went back, rented an Air B&B so their son could finish school. School isn’t out yet! Their house was built in 1924, so it is truly irreplaceable….and they probably won’t get anywhere near the value. Fortunately he is a financial guy, so he knows a lot of folks in high places and likely has a nice nest egg. But it’s the loss of everything that is weird, they said.

I’m sure she did, but someone (after about 2 days) posted photos and a recap on FB, which was really good!

WOW.......did I hear that Karen was going to resign or is that my imagination? I know she wasn't even there when the fires started.

It is horrible to lose everything and not even be able to replace things because of other issues, some not in your control.
