Awe..........that is so nice of them to do that.  Been thinking about you and your family.  HUGS!!!

I’ll send you guys an update email…..it’s been a lot….but it turns out from the biopsy it’s not lymphoma it’s lung cancer

OH MY!!!!   Praying and sending you as many "good vibes" as possible.  UMM.....do you think it could be because of the work he does?  I mean, filling out pot holes with the "chemical" asphalt?

The dr said it’s a secondary cancer….most likely either from the radiation he had there before or possibly because when he was younger he smoked for several years

Glad it is better with the weather than it was before.

Is it because of nerve damage that the spot on you knee might be numb forever?

Can you sleep in a bed without discomfort now?

It could be I can’t remember why he said that place stays numb, it is better than before though. They do cut a lot of nerve endings when they do surgery like that. Yes I can sleep without any discomfort in my knee now but at times my hip will ache but not enough to keep me awake or wake me up.

That is good, that you can sleep now.  Have you went to the Dr to see about your hip?  I know you don't want surgery on that yet.

Yes I did, I am sorry if I hadn’t told you.  He said that I do have advanced arthritis but it isn’t bone on bone.  He wants me to see a different type of therapy that some of his patients have had really good luck with.  I haven’t contacted them yet because to be honest with you I need a break from PT…LOL

CEK............how is you knee doing?  Does the weather bother it?

It is doing good actually, it is stiff when I get up some mornings and there is a spot on the side of my knee cat that is still numb but my doctor said that could stay like that.  I still can’t get down on my knees but that is ok.  Yes the cold does make it ache a little but doesn’t seem as bad as it did prior to the surgery!

Oh goodness….glad it’s doing a little better for you though

No I haven’t seen it, my daughter has and I remember her watching.

LOL.....

How is she doing?  Her teaching classes going well?

She is doing good.  She just started the spring semester yesterday and found out she has a deaf student in the class.  She is worried as she has never had a deaf student before.

Glad it isn't bone on bone..........does aspirin or advil help?

Can't believe she was voted out.

LOL!!!!!  An Iguana alert.......I still get a big kick out of that. LOL!!!!

Never thought about the Manatees.  What happens if the water gets too cold for them?  Could they die or will they go out to sea?

They come up into the springs where the water is warmer because the temps stay the same year round

Oh wow, that is good.  I got to see them at SeaWorld once.  Such gentle giants.

It’s amazing seeing them in the wild….
