Hi, everyone! I am popping in quickly to say hi. I am picking Little Bit up at robotics...but I won't be mad if she stays late. They have a competition in a little over a week and are not ready at all. She was supposed to leave early tonight for dance, but the dance studio had a problem with their HVAC system. Stinks for everyone else, but it worked out for us.

Hi Vmm!!!!!! Good luck with the competition!!!!

I remember you getting several.  Glad that you have not had any for a while.  Are you doing anything to TRY and avoid them?

Hubbys sister has some problem that causes her to produce stones all the time. My son had one and he couldn’t pass it and it embedded itself and they had to surgically remove it.

How horrible.

That does sound bad

Not really other than drinking lemon water…..but for me they had to do a surgery and when they got in there most of my kidney cavity was one big stone so they removed the big stone and they think my stones before were just pieces that would chip off the big one….so once they took the big one out …no more problems really

WOW.......glad they got that big one.  Do you know how big it was?

I get kidney stones. Sometimes they pass ok, but I have had to have two lithotrypsis...or however you spell it. The first one was in my 20s and the second was in my 40s. The method was very different the second time, and the recovery was much better.

Oh wow.  Do they do that as an outpatient or do you have to stay in the hospital a couple of days?

How is your shoulder doing?

Took up the entire middle of my kidney….it turned into a 7 hr surgery ….but it was worth it because it fixed the problem with stones

Hi Vmm!!!!!! Good luck with the competition!!!!

Thank you! I am getting anxious! They did unexpectedly well last year, and I think expectations are high...but I am worried. They are running into some issues this year.
