He was coming in the class, walking too fast, tripped over his own feet, fell and hit the door frame on the way down….it’s not in a sling but they wrapped it in an ace bandage….said it should feel better in a couple days but he’s got a pretty bad bruise

OUCH!!!!!  Glad he didn't break it.  I am sure that it will hurt for a few days.  Is putting ice or heat or it?

 
Yeah ice and they gave him ibuprofen too

that is good.  Hope he feels better soon.  Was it his right or left hand?  Will it affect him writing/homework for school?

Oh man tripping over your own feet can be dangerous. That is how I fell in the kitchen. LOL

yep, it is amazing how bad a person can get hurt just tripping over your feet.  I have done that and it can be bad.

oh man, that could have been serious.  I have done that a couple of times, but I guess, no one that it was bad so I didn't get check out (I was a kid at the time and head injurys were not that well known)
