So our son and family are moving to TN in June after HS graduation!!! 🙄☹️.  I guess we will have to fly out to visit them at some point!!!  Son leaving a really great management job in aerospace to let his wife support them!!! LOL. He does have a backup plan but it won’t pay a whole bunch.  They just felt the need to get out of  The People’s Republic of California…and can’t say we blame them.  We would consider it but at this stage of life not sur eit would be wise—-if we consider friends, other relatives, etc.

OH wow, that will be a huge change.  I wish him and his family well on their move and life changes.  That will also be a big change for you, not to see him/family as much.

Yes hubby was suppose to have his in October but he was just getting over COVID and then got his finger in the table saw!!!

How is his hand/arm doing?

Well his arm is doing ok his hand especially the little finger on that left hand he says always feels cold and he doesn't have the grip in it that he did prior to the heart surgery.

Yes, but little finger is a problem.  I have a bone chip from when I was about 20 in the first knuckle so it is kinda bent, and last year I tripped over the dog, caught myself in a door jamb and the lower two knuckles hurt like crazy for quite a while.  I can finally straighten the finger (but not the tip due to the bone chip.  So the little finger can be a problem!!  I can use it for typing and all other activities but I spent a lot of time while it was healing straightening it so as to try to prevent arthritis getting too bad.  I think I won that battle reasonably well.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Anyone watching AGT extreme?  There is a guy walking on a highwire that is on fire.

Yeah….sad about the distance, but hubby’s family is around locally so we won’t be all alone!!  I said to my posse that I don’t have enough time left to make friendships like the ones we have!  Better to stay and maintain what you have—-plus hubby has the heart doc and VA close by.  We’ll live!!  We never lived close to my parents.  They mostly came to visit us.
