I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

I looke forward to visiting in the fall. Not real keen on the humidity of summers in that part of the country!! I think the kids will be surprised…but they’ll have AC to sit in!!LOL!!!!! HUMIDITY????? Never heard of that???????.....LOL

When I hit the door jamb, it was just a split second reaction to the trip on the dog. I went from whatever the walking pace was to a dead stop!! Glad I sacrificed the finger and didn’t hit my head or face. Could have been a lot worse.Ok soooooo......why am I picturing similarities to tripping on pipes in hangers.....hmmmmmmmmmm
Difference is that the dog just happened to be int he way and I came around the corner, didn’t know he was there, and POW!!! At least I didn’t fall on the floor!!! Dog is 100# so he isn't moving too fast!!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, Jet and her hubby are two peas in a pod.LOLOLOL!!! That’s right!!! I had forgotten about the pipes in the hangar!!! LOL. He did bring that up a couple weeks ago. I reminded him that he could have saved himself a whole lot of aggravation had they cut the darned thing off after the first trip, stumble, and fall!!! Better late than never!!

We are hanging in there. Some good news, though: D2 has a job already. She will be working in my hometown! One less thing to worry about. She needs a place to live and a car. My parents would of course love her to stay with them, but that's not her plan, lol.Congrats to D2!!! How far away is that from where you live?? Can’t say I blame her for wanting to have her own life!! I remember that after college. You just really turn the corner during that time and it is time to stat out on her own. She’s been doing that for 4 years so she is ready!!
#1 granddaughter is going to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA in the fall. She is very excited! Has her dorm room selected and her roommate already!AWESOME!! big changes for her
My parents live an hour and 20 minutes from us, so D2's job is about that far away. I'm not sure if she will be living in that area or somewhere in between them and us.

Oh I forgot to tell you all that I my have to have cataract surgery...Have a consult with the eye surgeon on April 7th. Not looking forward to it but I am now afraid to drive at night because of the lights cause such a glare.
