Re: Getting Ready for Season 33

Praying for all in the southeast who have been affected by hurricane Helene. I’ve been through a few hurricanes in my life and I know how scary and destructive they can be, but this one has to be one of the worst in terms of loss of life and destruction.

Re: Getting Ready for Season 33

Hi Gabriele and Booky((hugs)) thank you both for thinking of us….everyone in my family is ok….Nemo was in the area of landfall in the panhandle but miraculously even though everything all  around his town was hit hard, his town didn’t have much damage and he only lost power for one day…I KNOW that was GOD answering our prayers..  Two of my cousins (one in Tallahassee and one in Jax had tree’s fall and hit their houses but no major damage and no one was hurt. My hubby got deployed to the panhandle and is working clean up for the next several weeks as usual ….thank you for you prayers…this one has taken even us seasoned Floridian’s aback…(((group hugs)))

Re: Getting Ready for Season 33

Hey sisters...forgot that I will be either late or in and out tonight.  Have to pick up Kaleb from wrestling and I will be chatting with my SIL as her and my son had to put their dog down today.  Stella was almost 17 and her health was bad and got worse over the weekend.  My DIL is having a really hard time with this so I will be a "mom" and try to make it a bit easier for her.  I still have days since Zelda, Oliver and Pabst left.

But I will be in and out.

April I am thinking about you and will say a prayer that you and your family are safe.  Not sure what Jacksonville will get yet but my SIL is in the Villages so I guess they are in the track too.

HUGS to you all.

Re: Getting Ready for Season 33

Hey April, I am here for now been talking to my daughter in Jax and she is calling back later.  She has friends coming up from Tampa and my daughter is stressing out with xtra people and dog and not knowing what to expect.

Haven’t talked to my SIL in the Villages.  Is that in the path like Orlando cause I think she is about an hour from WDW?

Re: Getting Ready for Season 33

I am not watching the show right now my daughter is watching something but will catch up in a bit.  Today and tomorrow are tough for me, but not as tough as you April and the people in the path of this storm.
