Poor kid ended up in the hospital with sepsis...I guess not related to the POTS, but possibly the port she has for infusions was a factor. So, the rest of the term she is staying home and will go back in January. It has been rough.

Oh no.  Is she out of the hospital yet?  Praying she is okay.  HUGS

Yes. She went in twice, but she was able to come home last week. She was supposed to be just home for break, but she ended up staying

Oh dear, it sounds like she has had it quite rough lately. HUGS  I am glad that she is home now and is going to stay as long as she needs.  That sounds very scary what she went through.  HUGS to her and to you all.

I am sooo sorry about that, vmmm…Being an autoimmune disease, POTS can cause other things..or susceptibility for other things like cepsis.  You are wise to keep her home to recover fully and build strength.

Ohh, that makes sense. Everyone wanted to blame the port, but luckily the port was not infected, and she was able to keep it.

That is good that they didn't have to remove it.

That is a big disappointment, I’m sure.  Is she Abe to finish her term online?

All she is doing this year is her senior project. It is a full year project, but she only needs 3 credits. She got one for A term and can skip B term without issue. She will have to make it through the spring, though.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. What kind of project is she doing?  Will she be able to complete it or can she get an extension? Poor girl, she is dealing with a lot.

Yes...usually twice a week. And they used it a lot in the hospital!
