That sounds familiar, CEK. I also found that I have a 'good' side and a 'bad' side and that goes from head to toe.
I have a bad hip too but we did some PT while I was working on my knee to help it. I am not looking to get a hip replacement any time soon. I think the way I was walking with my knee for the past 9 years made my hip worse. Keeping my fingers crossed.
