My Heart breaks for Chock and Bates, but Fournier Beaudry and Cizeron did put down one beautiful dance/skate. Glad I wasn't a judge........

My Heart breaks for Chock and Bates, but Fournier Beaudry and Cizeron did put down one beautiful dance/skate. Glad I wasn't a judge........
I had a feeling it would go down this way, unfortunately. But Chock and Bates can be proud of all they've accomplished. I expect we'll get an announcement that they will be retiring after Olympics unless they decide to compete at Worlds. Happy that Piper and Paul won the Bronze.

I kind of had the same feeling on the results. My family who LOVED Chock/Bates routine, also said that the French should win after watching their routine. That dance was beautiful, inspite of the "behind the scenes "personal stuff".
I hope that after a few weeks (it has to take some time), Chock and Bates become proud and happy of what they have accomplished, including that silver. I also agree that they will probably retire............and hopefully, make some babies. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
