Evening Sisters...
Hope you had a great Saturday...It was beautiful here today in the low 70's and tomorrow should be similar...
I made a loaf of Banana Chocolate Chip Bread after supper...We had grilled cheese tonight for supper, I was busy trying to do a little cleaning today. I am going to make Jets Bunt Cake when I get to the store to get some sherry...LOL
Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

I am going to log off, and shut down the computer early tonight.
I've enjoyed my Random Acts of Kindness day....delivered lemon bars to my good friend and my auntie. Lemon for both of them is favorite flavor. I allowed Remaining Poodle to accompany me on my errands with her head hanging out the back window of the car. Pretty random lol
I fixed one of my husband's favorite meals...especially the hasselback potatoes
I accepted the "gas stamps" when I purchased $100 worth of groceries and then promptly gave them to a nice woman who said she does indeed save them.
Of course most of these things I would do anyway...but it was fun to remember that I was part of something bigger going on all over the country.
But as I go to sleep tonight, I will pray for our country and its leaders. And leaders around the world, as instructed.
Let kindness attend every gift and good deed, and love warm every Christmas greeting.

My dear mother had 3 or 4 verses of scripture that she especially loved. And this among them was her favorite.
Later, when I go to sleep I will think on these things.
