Actually, it is unusual to have this much snow so low kind’ve all at once.  However, I looked up rainfall totals and found that February is the month that traditionally has the most rainfall for the year (3.80”!!).  I tihnk the average annual rainfall here is 12.5-14” (don’t remember the exact amount).  Of course, we haven’t had “normal” in quite a few years....but it seems when we do they say it was too much and when we don’t thay say it wasn’t enough!!!!  LOL

Lol....well, I am glad you are getting moisture....hope not the cold....lol

It has been colder than it’s been in years, it seems.  I like it, tho, for the change.  High winds seem to be coming with these storms.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Who was TERRIBLE!!!  He’s the primary reason we left....he had a horrible time reading the lines without blowing something...and they had to redo it!!

I have no idea how he is suppose to do the live show next season.....I think they made a bad choice...lol

Did you see that Mel b and Heidi will no longer be judging?  Julieanne will be one replacement, the other...forgot her name.

I did see that...and I don’t even know the other one!!!!  Not sure why they are leaving.  Maybe Simon was too hard on them?!!!  LOL

Granddaughter #1 and DIL went to Pittsburgh, PA over the weekend for a hockey tournament.  Much to everyone’s surprise (especially the team’s!), the girls WON!!!!!!!!!  THey were super excited....granddaughter got 4 points, which means she had 4 assists or goals (or any combo—each worth 1 point).  I”m just not sure if that was in the championship game or the tournament overall.  They had a great time!  This was the prep for Disstricts in Alaska which is the weekend after this coming one.

Yay.....congratulations.....I bet they are so excited to be going to Alaska.....how many games will they being playing there?

Each tournament is a guaranteed 4 games in about 3 days.  The PA one was 5 games because they had a semi-final (or consolation) game—and if you make it to the championship, you play a 5th game.  There’s a rule in hockey that there has to be a 4 hour time lapse between 2 games in the same day.  I’m sure it’s for recovery, refueling, and to help prevent injury.

And we aren’t used to high winds down here (they are common in the desert areas and upper deserts) so we get lots of trees down and stuff ripped up (like shade canopies, etc.).

Wow....still 4 hours between games....can still wear a person done...but I guess since it isn't all of the time, it isn't a big deal....and kids have energy in spades...lol...lol
