Noticed something while watching this....during the dance when she grabs his ear and drags him down the steps...she must have pulled his ear mighty hard because as they got to the bottom of the stairs he grimaces and i swear it looks like he says "oh Sh&%" LOL!!

I know what your saying....and trust me I'm very realisic....i want the fairytale too yes but that's up to them...but i'm also ok with them being friends...I'm just not 100% convinced this is a romantic trip for them...it doesn't fit Maks usual behavior patterns....so far we have 1 like on a pic of her packing a suitcase...he's done that with other co-workers and friends....and 2 pics....one on the plane where he is not being touchy feely which is not Maks like at all....and one thats posed in a way he has posed with thousands of people....if this was Nicole on this trip he would have posed the same way and would have had an arm around her on the plane and we still would not have assumed it was a romantic trip for them and that they were sleeping together....I may be wrong though time will tell...it does look bad i know but a long time ago i said "With my hand on the Nutri-Grain Bar....I will not panic until Meryl does...I promise" and well Meryls not panicking....i don't think Maks always uses his head and sometimes it causes confusion but I don't think he's always doing something wrong either

No. Remember what Brooke, Meryl's friend said in the package. Loosely quoted, we will see a completely different Meryl free to explore..... with this big sexy Russian guy..... by the looks of it, she did just that. And good on her. Brooke is definitely a source very close to Meryl. If the ring-sex-thing was indeed the case (I don't believe it for a second...), I would have to jump ship this very instant for both Meryl's and Maks's sake as I would have to feel sorry for both of them.
Well, I've never believed that either, but just grabbing at straws tying to figure out what is going on.

Ok, so I briefly "ran" through the many pages of posts, and from what understand, Maks is in Italy with a bikini model for a 5 day event?? Maybe I can finally move on now, lol!! Really looking forward to Season 19 and Val and his PLL!! Didn't think I would be able to enjoy dwts after MnM, but I really think I will! No more shipping for me......just going to love the dances!! xoxoxoxoxo
I agree!!!!! It took me a while to get here....but I'm finally have closure on Maks and Meryl and am OK with the fact that they are just friends!!!! I think time always helps that!!!!
We have a new season to look forward too and new couples to get excited about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think we'll have lots of fun stuff to talk about in 11 days :o) :o) :o)

Okay, caught up.....I hope we get pictures of Meryl and Charlie throwing out the pitches. For some reason, I think it may be funny.........in a good way........and after tonight, I need laughter and a good "feel" moment.
If they are really bad and funny, they will get on intentional talk!!!!!!!
LOL.......well, I don't want them to make fools of themselves, but a nice happy, cute, funny moment would be nice. It doesn't have to be in the pitching aspect......maybe, in an interview?

Carrie, we could never hate you...........I kind of believe that they are just friends too. I think maybe, they wanted to start something, but he went to India, her to Hawaii and when they got back Jlo hit, and they really couldn't get back on track after that because of the rumors, distance and time they spent away from each other. This is just my opinion.......their relationship never got off the ground.Luv, I think this is exactly what happened. It makes me sad, but things were good even when she was in Hawaii and he in India. After the diva rumors, there was probably nothing left. Remember the friend of a friend who claimed to work for AH? She said that Meryl's rep said she was no longer interested in dating him, this was in the middle of the diva stuff. We blew it off at the time, but it stayed in the back of my mind. I think probably then, she decided she didn't want the gossip. After all, he went out of his way to go to diva stuff, and never really denied it. I think maybe they have tried, but distance and his visable behavior probably has upset her and pushed her even further away.
Is Meryl's rep Yuki? About a week ago I read a tweet of hers that she made in the middle of July, just when everything was supposed to be so bad. Yuki's tweet said something like Maks and Meryl were what made season 18 a success. I was surprised because the tone of her tweet did not conform to all that I had heard on the ABC board, on SM, etc., and even some on this board. Nor did her instagram today, for TBT , come across, to me at least, as someone who disliked Maks and was telling people Meryl would never be interested in dating him. I find it astonishing, that if it were true (because of the JLO rumors) that Meryl wanted nothing to do with dating Maks, that no one from Meryl's camp has come out publicly and told the rag mags, etc., that Maks is full of hot air and needs to keep his mouth shut about how much he loves Meryl and about how close they are. There is something we seem to be forgetting: Meryl and Maks together as a dance team have a far better future professionally than they do apart. And we also seem to be forgetting, if we are keeping score, that based on what we in fact know, Maks has given up dancing as a pro on DWTS because of Meryl. That was/is huge.

No.
I think Meryl and Maks are friends. Period. That's it. BOTH of them have done nothing to try to further a relationship togther. They both have chosen work and other committments rather then spend time together to develop a relationship. Maks has done nothing wrong, same with Meryl. That we know of. I will not fault Maks for taking someone on a vacation with him. If it comes up that he is in fact dating Meryl, then yeah, he's wrong for taking that girl.....but we have no clue what is going on. To me they are just friends. Have been but hopefully won't always be because maybe one day if the stars align it will be more.....but they have got to put each other first....not selling vodka at BJs and grand marshaling racing events.
Agree about BJs and racing events. But, if they have just been friends all along, why wouldn't Maks say that at the BWAT programs when he was asked?
