Just been to the abc dwts board.  I am taking liberty to bring view's last post over, as not everyone visits there anymore:-

"It has been a roller coaster ride, hasn't it. Mostly self-inflicted.  But I remind myself that just two weeks ago Meryl was at his apartment in LA  (pictured with Jenna) and a week before that Maks was in Michigan and gushing on, again, about what they have and how he loves that it's theirs (and not ours). ...
Because I'm not a teenager nor is this interest in MnM in any way a substitute for love, drama!, or emotional connection in my own life - I can ride the ups and downs, perhaps, better than the tumblr teens who are so invested...
....Thanks for your reference to Ryan (Gosling) and Rachel...because sometimes I suspect that Meryl has asked for the relationship (oops...) amazing friendship to stay cool, casual, under the table, for a while  (Olympic year?) and if they still feel the same way about each other after that interim, then..  see where it takes them. BTW, remembering that Michigan trip, I've wondered how the off-board, general public took that admission of his to the radio interviewer, "but, uh, I'm actually having breakfast with Meryl Davis as we speak".  We know that he had just flown in that morning for the mall thing.  But that was quite a titillating bit of information to throw out to the general public, I thought, and yet no tweets or follow-ups from either of them to clarify or disclaim what could be construed. ...
But I'll post it because I care about us, and our relationship on this board.  I ship us.
Let's hang in there 'til February's performance."

Hear, hear!

Sounds about like us!! We always knew that view belongs over here!!! Nice she is a sense of reason over there, tho.

Gabriele, how did you learn that DB is a professional escort?

And how is "professional escort" defined??!!  LOL

I guess my parting comments for this morning are that 1) actions have consequences and 2) perception is reality.  Perceptions are created by actions (and words) so if one goes somewhere with an "unknown" person, the perception that may be construed somehow becomes someone else's reality--no matter what the reality really is or isn't.  An incorrect or damaging perception is always more difficult to undue than for one to have ACTED in a way that would have prevented the misconception.  No dissing or bashing....just some thoughts to ponder because this seems to be what we've really been talking about for the past couple days.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Re: The Key to Life Is......

Morning everyone,  Been lurking some and I think I need to set somethings straight.  I did not jump over board.  I felt like I was going to get kicked off the ship because I was making comments about not understanding why/what Maks is doing.  I don't feel like he is doing anything "really" wrong, I just don't understand him or the choices he makes.   It is like what some others have done, they stepped away because of the negativity or the uncertainly right now, and I stepped away, because I felt like I couldn't say anything without offending others.  I try to be respectful in my opinions, but I was becoming afraid that because we don't all have the same opinion we were driving each other away.  That is last thing I would want to do.  I believe that we should all be able to say what we feel, good or bad, but felt like we were starting "to take sides", which is not good.  I love different opinions and welcome them.  They often "talk me off of the ledge" so to speak, but when people feel like they need to leave because they don't feel "good" about what is going on, that makes me sad.  I am kind of rambling on this morning, and I don't know if what I am saying makes sense, but that is why I stepped away last night.

Now, on to something "fun"........

Ladies, while I was lurking, something strange and wonderful happened.  A jet few in and landed in my yard, 4 kids and their dog jumped out and ran towards me saying that they solved the mystery on where I had disappeared to.....they dragged me onto the jet and flew me back here to this wonderful ship.........I appreciate you not throwing me overboard, instead all of you wonderful people sent out a search party for me......Luv you all.

Oh, and I don't believe Meryl or Maks are goons........it is US that are a bunch of GOONIES. LOL

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

Truthsearcher over in the abc board quoted from an article she had read.  I'll ask her where she found it.  But you're right, we should always aim to see the original source so as to avoid spreading misinformation.  There is always a market for this service.  I personally don't judge people on things like that.  I'm sure it has been a career starter for many successful women.  *lol
