Amen to that, east!  I only have boys, but they surely learn to appreciate a strong woman and not see her as a threat.

Maybe Maks was pondering this...

Hi Sisters! Hope all is well at your side of the globe.
Not sure why people think they look unhappy together.  He looks relaxed if not happy to me in these shots.  And why don't we see physical displays of affection?  Going by all we know, they have had enough private time since Christmas to be all over each other and don't have to do so in public.  Especially if we take into account how long they have lived with each other in the past.  The give the impression of an established couple; their familiarity with each other is natural and goes without display.  Is this a dusty/dirty footprint, including toes on Maks's hip?   Have the tumblr analysed whose foot it is??  *lol*

Interesting take from Gabrielle.

There seems to be little or no interaction between them. However, I am wondering why they are spending so much time together and wouldn't be surprised if Peta suggested this lunch thing.

How can we assume or define "so much time" from 3 or 4 pics from one moment in time during lunch??  It is both dangerous and kind've unfair to assume anything other than the lunch together.  When I mentioned earlier that I've had a meals with male friends who were not my husband on occasion, iI I put myself into Peta's spot in these photos, it could easily be assumed by onlookers that I was a friend to Maks; however, it doesn't look any different (although it would be sans phones, I might add!) than my lunch with anyone--although I WOULD likely be smiling or talking or joking around....so the relationship could also be construed as more romantic or involved than it actually is--because that is just how I am.  I don't see a lot of emotion or expression in either of their faces or actions (just at face value).

So I think in all fairness to all parties we should be careful not to inject our own emotions too far into what we see.  It is easy to "assume" what we want or don't want to see and/or read into it.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl
We fell in love, but our way. Maks

And I am on the other side, had sisters and daughters, no boys.  But my girls know what to look for in a man.  Thankfully.
