So are bow ties back in for the young men these days?  My daughter talked my grandson out of getting one when she bought his suit the other day.  The response from her friends and relatives is to let him have the bow tie. Aren't they kind of "nerdy"?  No experince in this area, need feedback.  The one he wants is grey, the suit is a cream colored linen suit.

EC.....I love bow ties on little and big guys!!  One of my favorite memories of my grandson was when he was about 2 or 3 at my niece's wedding wearing a printed tuxedo shirt with a bow tie at the top....with sneakers!!  At that age he could get away with the shoes and it was cute.

So I say, let him have what he wants or both!!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. The pants need to be picked up this weekend, I have a feeling she will get the bow tie when she goes to Nordstroms to get the slacks.  I will take a picture of him with the complete outfit on.  Thanks for your input.

Actually sounds kind of "spiffy" to me ... and just the right look for a lad his age.

BTW, I see our girl, Tango, sometimes posts on the other thread now, too.  As I somestimes do as long as the discussion isn't toooo MnM as secret lovers related.  Sometimes I can shed light on the whole
Val, Rumer, Demi, Bruce, Scout, Talulah, Janel, Payson realm.

I was going to suggest to Tango, through this more private forum, that she might enjoy linking up with some of the gals from there who are (again) going to Sway - and making their plans already.

So, good for her.  I just hope she will pop over here and fill us in on her plans as well.  Look at her cute avatar.  Which caught my eye even before her use name

  Atta girl, tango!

So, cute.  And true!!  My late mother, when I was cleaning out her house and going through things for a couple of garage sales, STILL had on her decorative built in shelves that separated the entry foyer from the dining room - a cute little clear, amber colored vase.  In the bottom were 2 or 3 acorns from going on a walk with little toddler (my daughter) and a fist full of dandelions tied together w/ ribbon.  I remember when she told me my little son had excitedly come in the house with them one spring. Thought they were so pretty.

A few little things like that on that shelf.  Lovingly dusted (for 40 years) and never thrown out.

Looks like everyone is having a good time.  Her comment?  What is is peta, you want us to guess about "last night" or to presume something or to speculate what happened last night.  Geez, get over yourself.  Grow up.

Had to post this. Don’t know if you remember when this girl posted on ig that Meryl was sending her something in the mail because of her disease or condition or something I forgot what exactly it was well she posted this. Meryl sent her socks and candles and stuffed animals to help make her feel comfortable. This is why I love Meryl👏👏👏👏👏👏
