So, I am hearing about the people magazine article about peta and maks.  Apparently the story goes that they never really broke up and that he has always been "her guy".  This has all the earmarks of a pr stunt.  Peta openly chased James Maslow until that didn't work out. On maks side, there was the Italy scenario, JLO, Kate Upton and the way he fell all over Meryl for three plus months.  Of course, these are only the ones that were publicized in one way or another, chances are there was more activity going on with Maks and whoever that we will never know about.  If this were true and they never broke up, what kind of an idiot is peta?  Surely, she must have the intelligence of a dustbunny and absolutely no self esteem either. 
If this was her publicists way of getting attention for her, I would call this a monumental fail.     Anyone remember the last time Maks was interviewed for anything substantial?  He has been underground for some time now.  Interesting.

By the way, I thought Meryl's interview today was good even though the interviewee was a moron and treated them in a very demeaning manner.  Meryl's response about Maks was clear cut, concise and final.  Gone are the puppy dog eyes when his name is mentioned, gone are the giggles, the embarrassed look, she just said "no, we never dated",  Done.  I am confident that they are still friends and that they have a mutual respect and fondness for each other but something changed in Meryl for sure.  Maybe it is because she is dating someone else and has a new perspective.

I think things changed, were changing, (what the public perceives - wise) when Alexander went off re: the pathetic humans who are obsessed about others' love lives, and Val's tweet that the "truth will set you free"  both from a couple weeks ago.  Maybe when M was in Chicago and got together w V, they talked, and he said just tell the truth and let the chips fall where they may...Sway tickets, etc.   Sorry if I expressed this previously.   In a hurry.
 

Somebody needs to tell Val to cover when he coughs.......just sayin'!!  He coughed his way through the whole live stream!!  Hope Rumer doesn't get sick!!

I noticed that too, Cassidy....but this may be one instance where coughing into you elbow would be pretty bad.  As that crook in your arm is going to be close to her face too.
