hey guys, it has been a long couple of days, yesterday I took her to the Doctor for her labs and once again her platelet counts had dropped....the Doctor is concerned because of how long it's been that her platelets have been dropping and only coming up with transfusions, he also found some red dots called patechea and bruises coming up on her.....he is not giving her a transfusion yet because he wants to see what her counts do without them interfering. I have to take her back on Monday to have more labs.....on Monday if her counts have not come up or have dropped more they will be scheduling a bone marrow biopsy to check out her marrow function......what the Doctor said he is afraid of is that her marrow may have stopped working right.......I am taking it one day at a time and trying not to worry over it too much yet because we don't know if that is what's wrong yet......He also said there is a possibility this could be a virus keeping her system suppressed, or chemo again but we have been holding all chemo for 3 1/2 weeks now so it shouldn't be that ......please pray that when I take her on Monday her counts will be better and all this worry will have been for nothing ((((holding all your hands))))
she is in good spirits and handling all this well, I am doing ok too.....I am concerned, but I'm trying not to as my mom would say "put the cart before the horse" ......because I may take her in Monday and her counts may be going up on their own....that's what I am praying for
this has been a long journey with a lot of ups and downs ..... and I know it's not easy to hear all the downs and well.....words can just not express how much it means to me that you guys have been willing to walk through this with us ((((hugs)))) I was so blessed to have met you all ....and I am hoping to have good news for you all on Monday
