I will answer a few of the questions this morning before other things need to be done. (Just turned on the sprinkler hose outside on my new perennial bed....very dry here. Cousin who farms has everything seeded, but now farmers desperately need rain.)
1. I did not name cars in my youth. My first husband called our old Plymouth "Pete" My first house mate named her Rambler "Rosie" She'd "tuck in Rosie" at bed time. LOL Since we didn't have a garage, she'd take this old bedspread that she kept in the trunk and cover the windshield and close the doors on it so it wouldn't blow off. In the morning if we had gotten a light snow, or frost, she'd just whip of the cover and off to work she'd go! 45 years ago....they probably make something just for that purpose now.
I usually have a little run-about car - small efficient, easy to park for my in town errand running etc. For the past couple of years it has been an Honda "FIT" - - and I said to hubby that if I were the kind that names their cars I would name it "Hissy" !! LOL. He said that almost warranted a personalized plate!
2. I'm reading the ABC series of detective novels by Sue Grafton - you know... B is for Burgler. So I will say Kinsey Milhone. Life would be interesting. But I especially like the neighborhood she lives in, the town in California along the coast, and the old guy she rents her guest house from.
Enough for now, friends. Hope to catch you later.
