I wanted to report in to the book readers (and audio book listeners) among us that an author was recommended to me.

Learning that I am reading the ABC Mysteries of Sue Grafton, this woman said she had read most of them and that I might like Donna Leon's series.

I was able to check one out from our local library and I can see already that it is good. Maybe less "fluff" than Sue Grafton's.
