I transferred the Christmas Candy Cane pattern to a nice tea towel today... So this evening I think I'll get at some actual embroidering.
Anyone else making or donating to the prize pot for Season 22?View, I had a prize all picked out months ago, but I can't for the life of me find it.
I must of put it someplace "special" as it was during the Holidays. Does this mean I can't play. lol

Lol. I can relate. I just recently found some stuff I stuck away when tidying up for Christmas Eve at the last minute. I kept telling myself that surely I would have put them in a "related" place in case I forgot exactly where.
But no, I had stuck them in the laundry room cupboard - - just because there was room in there. I've been known to stick some toys or such in the clothes dryer - even the oven - if someone says they're stopping for coffee with little notice!

Good evening. I had not planned to log on tonight, but this is so funny that I had to share it with all my sisters on this board. It began with this T.S. Eliot quote from my older son, a quote he posted on his Facebook page. As TS Elliot so eloquently put it, "We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started, change our makeup to look radically different to our fellow travelers, and upset everyone by joining a search party to find ourselves, for the first time."
And then this link.
If the link does not work hopefully one of you that is more adept than I (and that is all of you) at these things can easily find the link for "woman accidentally joins search party looking for herself. I can just imagine all of you bursting out laughing as I did.
April, you, our niece and your family are in my heart and prayers.
CEK. Hope you had a wonderful, albeit tiring, day with the "littles".
Luv, so glad you are feeling better.
View , Jet and April, thank you for the encouraging words about writing and sharing.
I have the feeling that I have missed someone who posted on the last four pages. If I have, my sincere apologies.

This is hilar-r-r-ious, KOS. Can you imagine!? (Your link was fine, btw)
And I was not familiar with the quote either, so thanks for posting it.
Doesn't it make you wonder - as the person said in the article - just how self-aware we are of the impression we present to others? Wouldn't you think you'd recognize yourself in the description of the missing woman?
Too funny.

Hi to you all...
I just got home and I am tired, but had a wonderful day with my little ones...except for while we were on the way to supper...me, hubby and the 3 little ones...and a lady ran into the back of us
She said she was looking at the car behind her as he ran into her (he drove off apparently...if she was actually hit...no clue about that) and she just plowed into our car. We were not stopped but actually driving down the street...there was no damage to our car or the front of hers. All the little ones are ok, just scared them...my back is a little sore but I think ok. Will call my doctor in the morning just to let him know.

CEK, I know you will be plumb tuckered out from your day of babysitting. But when, or if, you log on tonight...I have 2 nightcaps for you. To warm you up and relax you.
You choice: With alcohol or non.
Lavender Honey Cream Or simply delicious hot cocoa.
