hi guys, well....it has been an eventful few days.....we have had both rainbows and rain......on the good side WE ARE HOME!!!!!!!!!YAY!!!!!!! they will be doing a chest x-ray and ct scan next week to determine how well the tumor has responded to the intense chemo then they will determine the next types and dosages to give her so our next hospital stay will probably be in a week and a half or so.......now on the rain side....well we had a doozy......we found out today that my son is NOT a match for her......her info is now being sent to the national bone marrow registry to see if we can find her a donor through them.....please pray that we will find a donor by the time she is ready for transplant.....she is in good spirits and we are trusting God that we will find her a donor....she is right now just glad to be home for a little while

WELCOME HOME, LADIES!!! So very happy you were able to go home for a while.
Very bummed that your son is not a match on the bone marrow, but I'm not sure that is all that unusual. I don't know alot but I have heard that sometimes the closest family members aren't necessarily the right match. There is always a reason. Of course, I have no idea how that all works and what markers, etc. they have to find in common. It certainly would have been AWESOME if it had been that easy, but I also trust that a suitable match will be found in the right time. We will trust together.
Meanwhile, we will all be here praying and keeping the faith that this thing will get her to the checkered flag.

Awe, Hugs April. Sorry that your son wasn't a match, but I am so glad to hear that you and your daughter are home from the hospital. That is wonderful news. I love your picture post. That is so true, we can't see the rainbows without a little rain/tears/water. Are the Drs. going to test you or your hubby? I know that the best chance for a match was your son, but just thought I would ask...just in case. Being on the National Registry is good. I hope they find a match soon. Anyway, just wanted you to know I am thinking about you all. I will keep holding your hand and looking for rainbows.

Artem Chigvinstev And Mischa Barton Talk On Rehearsals, Knowing Each Other Before DWTS, And More
Artem Chigvinstev and Mischa Barton were interviewed by Access Hollywood today. They talk about how they knew each other before they were paired as partners for Dancing With the Stars. They also talk on how their rehearsals are going so far. Artem says Mischa has a lot of potential and she can take on a role for every dance. LOL to him throwing her around. These two are funny and adorable.
Ok who is Mischa Barton??????
She was on a show called the OC...I heard them say it on GMA...
