Luv,
I'm going to pick Nyle, Antonio, and Paige for the PRE-Season Final 3 Prediction. I know, I know, but I want to feast my eyes on Nyle for many weeks (and wont Maks be there a lot this season)
First to go home....I'll say Geraldo too. And I'm making the decision based on their pros as much as anything. I don't know Edyta's history on the show.
Top of the Leader Board: Ginger and Val.
HEY VIEW *waving*.....LOL.....I thought the same thing bout Maks being around alot this season when I saw Nyle....LOL

A quick good morning, everyone.
I used the "recovery" feature of Windows to go back 5 days and restore the computer to that time.
It solved ALL the problems
It coincided with an attempted installation...I kind of think it had to do with Windows 10. They keep trying to "foist" it upon me and I do not want to switch. Not yet anyway.
Anyway, all is well.
Here is a tweet from Kym that made me smile this morning: Let the wedding planning begin!View, what problems were you having? My computer just automatically upgraded to Windows 10, and every once in a while the screen just goes to blue, with just the cursor visible. I can't get it to respond at all. Then I manually turn off the computer, and it's all set again.
Vmmmom,
I wonder if this is the best way to show you what was happening to my computer. I took a picture of the screen with my camera at a couple of points...thinking I would stop in to visit with the geeks and show them what was going on and maybe get some advice - no cost.
Then I remembered how "recovering" back to a certain date can restore your computer to when it was working fine. The "critical update" of a windows installation is the date I chose to go back to.
But here is one of the screen pictures I snapped. It just wouldn't run in the normal mode - I had to start it in Safe Mode, but there are many things you cannot do in Safe.
Here is what happened to my computer....similar but worse!! My son convinced me that Windows 10 was easier to use than Windows 8 (although I had pretty much gotten used to 8 and it was fine with me). So after some consideration I concurred!! Bad idea!! He did all the downloading, etc. and it worked like a champ for about 2 weeks....after which I got LOCKED OUT. Blue screen (but no text on it), didn't recognize my password, didn't let me do anything. I was panicked and contacted him at work! He found online a source where someone had posted the "go around" (my phrase) to get back to Windows 8. In my dino-tech world this was all Greek to me, but I did manage to follow the instructions (all by myself, I might add!!!!) and I successfully got back to Windows 8. I will NEVER try Windows 10 again....but I do worry about some "automatic update" because there must be a problem when it is overlaid on top of Windows 8. I was just relieved that there was a solution and I wasn't the only one with a goofy computer!!!!! LOL
So there is a solution if you end up locked out....but I hope that isn't what you have to deal with! Good luck!

My suggestion is to just stick with what you have. My DIL found it easier to use than 8, but I got used to 8 and 10 seemed foreign!!! I guess dinosaurs really can adapt!!!! LOL
