If Doug Flutie is any good, all of New England will be voting for him on Monday. Between his Boston College roots, his stint on the Patriots, and dancing to the unofficial anthem of Red Sox Nation, he will be the nostalgic pick. I don't know about beyond New England, though, but everyone on this board seems to know who he is.
KOS, thank you for your lovely words and the beautiful piece that you shared.
I'm still trying to figure out my picks. It's tricky. A lot of athletes, and a lot of the ones who aren't are well-known. Hmm.

I have to agree with what all of the sisters have said.
KOS, that was just beautiful. Thanks for posting it. You have a beautiful artistic soul. I enjoy watching/reading whatever you post.
Jet, I was very interested to read about you being a trumpet player. COOL. Also, I didn't realize all of what it takes to make a great player. I thought all you needed was air and to push buttons. lol
CEK, hope you get some good news on Bella today.
View, thanks so much for posting the team names and phone numbers. I added them to the chart as I wasn't sure if you would be able to do that week by week.
Vmm.....hope Robtics goes well today.
I like the idea of a new thread for Monday.
Have a great day everyone.

Aww! Next Friday is their first match, but tomorrow will be a big day of unbagging and working on the robot. This season seems so long. Last year they were done with their regular season by this time because they competed in weeks 1 & 3. This year they are competing in weeks 4 and 6, and hopefully beyond. That's an awesome card, though. I will show my daughter. They will need as much luck tomorrow as next week, I think.
